This organisation is not working for us this is suppose to be a body for all safety personal with qualifications , qualification should enable you to register just like doctors and all professionals not the thing

Sibusiso Mbanjwa (Durban, 2020-10-27)

#8

The sacpcmp is unfair to poor unemployed people because if you don't have money for registration you will never be registered if you don't have experience they require you will never be registered and the worse part you will never work without it if you work you will be underpaid because you are not registered with sacpcmp. So graduates are still going to stay at home because of this registration if sacpcmp.

Letswai Oupa Malesa (Polokwane, 2020-10-27)

#11

I have applied since July and I am still waiting for response even today. The registration process takes longer and i am not happy with their fees, i was given a candidate category as the first level of registration for the council but the subscription fee is too much for us.

Thabang Modupi (Polokwane, 2020-10-27)

#13

Our fellow safety officer are not working cos they dont have money to pay

#16

SACPCMP has nothing to offer...yet they disadvantage our Graduates......specifically those who want to persuade their career within construction field......i think as a graduate you already acquired a knowledge of your particular career from University.....suggested solution is "SACPCMP must offer Graduates and all those who want to persuade their career in construction...... a training that would match their prerequisite of being fully registered CHSO & so on"......qualified with an unexpired registration.........than take us from pillar to post....whilst expecting us to pay......

Thomas Ratau (Pretoria, 2020-10-27)

#20

It's because of not being treated fairly with you guys, how can someone spend 3 + at university studying NDSM instead of being registered as CHSO is problem and you're not even a academic institution when you'll offer NQL, it's very nonsensical

Siviwe Sivi (Gauteng, 2020-10-27)

#21

I am signing this because SSCPMCP is not helping us.

Tshepo Chauke (Tembisa, 2020-10-27)

#25

I'm the safety officer who is affected by the SACPCMP, not registered because of their Registration process, being under paid because of this too.

Nondumiso Khumalo (Ulundi, 2020-10-27)

#27

The process is too slow, since I started tge process in 2017 even am not registered, their even removed me from their data base and when l ask l don't get answers, they don't respond to my emails and fone calls

Rirhandzu Freda Baloyi (Gauteng, 2020-10-27)

#28

We are loosing opportunities about this board, and took long to be registered and it's painful, and they are demanding lot of experience to register as chso how can we get experience, if we don't get jobs.

Patrick Mkhululi Mbombela (Fort Beaufort, 2020-10-27)

#44

SACPCMP it does nothing for CHSO we are under played by the contractor.
Their system is slowly we had to pay annual fee even if we are not working. R3100 annual fees while you are getting R18000 monthly this is too expensive

Jonas Pheko (Sasolburg, 2020-10-27)

#45

Im signing because i say No To SACPCMP

Katleho Jamjam (Sasolburg, 2020-10-27)

Lebogang Moloto (Polokwane, 2020-10-27)

#47

I am signing this petition because I am registered candidate, as a candidate mostly employers they dont recognized it,which makes me not working and also sacpcmp they are looking for annual fee every year. Why cant they employer consider us as a candidate because we deserve the opportunity so that we will also gain the experience like others Safett officer.

Lucia Ndivheleni Mulaudzi (Thohoyadou, 2020-10-27)

#48

I am signing because SACPCMP annual fee is way too high. How are people supposed to afford the annual fee while they are unemployed.

Kate Molamo (Germiston, 2020-10-27)

This is just a scheme to get money from Safety Officers, it is USELESS!

Lesiba Masenya (Mokopane, 2020-10-27)

I'm signing this petition because I'm tired of being forced to register with an institution which does nothing for me but want to regulate the industry.

Nathan Michael Roskruge (Durban, 2020-10-27)

#57

As a OHS Officer I would like to see change in the registration system.

Nosiphiwo Siboto (Katlehong, 2020-10-27)

#59

I have lost jobs on an interview due to being not fully registered but I have the necessary qualifications and experience.
The annual fee is also very high to the unemployed

Lindokuhle Mbethe (Witbank, 2020-10-27)

#60

I lost all hope in searching for a job ,due to SACPCMP, system they question the institution we have studied In and bring up new ways to extort money from us .SACPCMP should pay us our moneis we have spent on our safety qualifications so we can change our field of work .

Avinash Dwarikapersadh (Isipingo, 2020-10-27)

#61

i am signing because the SACPCMP does not help us with nothing

nhlanhla khaphadiya (durban, 2020-10-27)

#63

Im signing because SACPMPC is giving me hard time, and it takes forever for them to respond and they are expensive

Lisbeth Maluleka (Johannesburg, 2020-10-27)

#64

I have applied about 3 years ago and have not been able to finalize my application to date. It is so difficult to reach someone at their offices for assistance. I have been in the field for 24 years, however my experience is not sufficient.

Melisa Adams (Durban, 2020-10-27)

#65

I don't see the impact of this body, it doesn't protect nor have regulations which supports safety officers, it is a scam, a well recognized money making body.

Mathebula Matt Pro (Pretoria, 2020-10-27)

#66

The Fees are too high, One has to wait for months if not a year to get certifate, the process on its own we have to call send emails so that we can get answered. The council does not stand for us in court or any safety issues we being challenged at and it also does not assist us in getting jobs.

Nonhlanhla Thembi-Moroki (vanderbijlpark, 2020-10-27)

#70

High fees and less opportunities for graduates. We pay high fees with no experience and yet we have no jobs.

Shirley Mashishi (Randfontein, 2020-10-27)

#74

This body is just a money making scheme whereby one party is benefiting while the other is not

Phaswane Tladi (Burgersfort, 2020-10-27)

#77

I've sent my proof of payment early September but nothing shows

Lindokuhle Ngcongo (Durban, 2020-10-27)

#78

I'm signing because I can see a need, all qualified OHS personnels deserve to be recognized and heard. This council is making it very difficult for all the OHS Graduates to find a job,its way too expensive and the process took ages to respond to our applications

Belinda Maruta (JOHANNESBURG, 2020-10-27)

#79

I think that this body serve no purpose for the profession. Only enrich the head honcos that takes the membership fees. SAIOSHprovide service for their members. What does this body gives us other than a bunch of lies and hassles to register

George Jacobs (Secunda, 2020-10-27)

#80

I am signing this petition because I do not see it relavence and how does it add value to us as practitioners, also it makes it difficult to find employment, we go to school pay large amount of money only to find that being registered with SACMCMP will stand on the way of getting employment how are we suppose to get experience if SACMCMP dinies us the right to work and the system for registering is complex this SACMCMP thing is so frustrating.

Phila Benedictus Mtolo (Durban, 2020-10-27)

#83

The SACPCMP ads zero value to the trade. We dont see the importance of this body if they cant maintain their very own objective and portfolio.

We are bing billed high annual fees without reason. After covid19 and what it has done to South Africans and the economy, how are we then expected to shell out R3000 to pay for a membership to a body that does nothing for us as individuals?

It is daylight robbery.

Brent Crouch (Durban, 2020-10-27)

#84

No trash talk, but it only causes unpleasant circumstances in the industry and it doesn't benefit the SHE industry at all rather than crippling it, and it is a money making scheme and it has put a lot of SHE professions in jeopardy and left them in predicament. We are all fed up and can't continue like this. We all want the SACPCMP to come to an end.

Godfrey Enslin (Strand, 2020-10-27)

#85

I need a solution to this

Casper Spires (George, 2020-10-27)

#88

I am also a safety personnel but SACPCMP has not helped me with anything, the registration process is long.

Senamile Nyoka (Gauteng, 2020-10-27)

#89

Have no benefit from this. Training courses are too expensive.

Pieter van der Walt (Somerset West, 2020-10-27)

#91

the council is robbing us compared to other professions

xolani ndlovu (kzn, 2020-10-27)

#95

I've struggled to register with no luck

Anani Ndou (Jennifer, 2020-10-27)

#96

It is only costing money and there is absolutely no benefit except for getting work. I would not mind to be a members but the fees will then need to come down considerably.

Ryno Jones (Centurion, 2020-10-27)

#97

Its is not a benefit to the registered person. Sacpcmp gets our money and give proof of registration. Employer want to see proof of registration. Does it proof competence, does it proof fit to perform the task? Does it push your rate up by the R3K or R4K that you pay them as Safety Officer? So what value add to your pocket is there? No SACPCMP must fall or UP their GAME, because it is good to regulate professions, but not to the detriment of the registered persons.
If the Registered Institute decided by the DOL, or DOL themselves can mentor us, help to keep our skills on top form, up to date and abreast with all the changes in the economy so that the industry internationally want to employ us or use us as Ohs consultants then, I can say yes it is a value add to be registered with such a regulated body but if nothing and only we paying, then I dont see the reason for any Institute regulating the profession.

Zulfah Mangera (Nigel, 2020-10-27)

#98

I'm signing this petition because, we are being over, and we are not being help by this company in terms of career wise, instead of helping us they are demanding money.

Jimmy Msibi (Vanderbijlpark, 2020-10-27)

Ziyaad Mangera (Nigel, 2020-10-27)

#117

Oswald Khana (Riversdale, 2020-10-27)

#118

I'm signing because I've been struggling to get a job because I am not registered and company require registration for employment, It has been 6 months now since I put in my registration but I still haven't gotten any feedback. I feel like it would be a bit easier getting a job if this was not a requirement because I have the qualifications and experience.

Raylene Davids (Durban, 2020-10-27)

Simphiwe Gift Mbuli (Newcastle, 2020-10-27)

#136

SACPCMP adds no value to being a registered member irrespective whether you are employed or not. The new
International Health and safety couraes are at such a high level that the authorities have very little idea nor comprehension on how to handle the applicant qualified in one nor more of these courses.
What Value do they add to you as an registered member?

Carel Greyling (Port Elizabeth, 2020-10-27)

#150

I am signing this partition because i can't afford the fees and since i registered 2016, and i just received a confirmation letter, till today 2020 i never invited to write an exam.
I noticed that some Safety Consultants candidates are not registered but they are employed, and most of them they can't even develop a Legal Safety File or Baseline Risk Assessment.

Auriel Lebogang Njica (Klerksdorp, 2020-10-28)

#153

I'm signing because the fees are too high and I am unemployment. I had never got the opportunity to work as a safety officer. I can't afford the fees now because of my unemployment status.

Milton Mashala (Johannesburg, 2020-10-28)

#160

Unemployed because of not being registered

Jerome Lund (Johannesburg, 2020-10-28)

#161

The problematic SACPCMP processes are preventing qualified experienced professionals from working in the Construction industry.

Janine Ferreira (Secunda, 2020-10-28)

#162

Im signing because the SACPCMP has not done anything for me as an individual. I am required to pay a ridiculous amount of money per annum for nothing. I have been looking for employment in Gauteng for 3 years now & having this "LOG" means nothing to employers. I have not been financially able to attend any of their workshops / presentations / conferences mainly because of the ridiculous fees associated with it. I work at a Nation Key Point & yet SACPCMP has not established workshops/conferences in out town. Everything is in the city which not only means I would have to take a days leave but also pay for my own accommodation for the 3 day long conference. Its ridiculous. My company does not pay these things because nowhere does it state that it is their obligation nor does it benefit the company.
They are quick to call & ask for their money but not about how our experience is or of we are happy members / what our concerns are. Its only about money. I haven't been able to access my profile for over a year because I'm behind with my fees.
SACPCMP is just another money making scheme to line the pockets of a select few.

Loganie Pillay (Secunda, 2020-10-28)

#168

We safety officers spend alot of money for our courses again we still have to register with the council on top of that we get contracts jobs. How are we going to pay annual fees of we don't have jobs. It has to be cancelled

Eldah Moloto (Ivy park, 2020-10-28)

#169

I am a safety officer by profession and experience, the sacpcmp isn’t doing any good to us but exploit us. Instead of supporting unemployed registered members by helping them find jobs they still want fees from them. Their processes are too long, I have a friend who has been trying to register for almost two years now and on the other hand construction companies do not recognize unregistered members. The concept is good but the intent is not because it is only benefiting the council itself. This is just exploiting desperate people.

Reckson Baloi (Alberton, 2020-10-28)
