I had no idea that this horrible cruelty and cold-hearted exploitation of such sensitive and vulnerable animals was happening in Canada !! I thought Canada was a civilised and enlightened country, but I do not think that anymore ! This is a disgrace, such suffering is inexcusable and unforgivable, please stop this !

I have seen the videos of horse slaughter both in Canada
and in Mexico, both are barbaric. Just because a horse is sent for slaughter doesn't mean it can be rough handled and abused. It is terrified, hungry, thirsty and bewildered when it arrives and the last thing it needs before dying is being yelled at and cruelly treated!

Les chevaux sont des êtres sensibles, comment le gouvernement du Canada peut continuer à fermer les yeux sur ces pratiques cruelles et sur ces abattoirs. We all need to band together USA and Canada and stop the massacre of horses in Canadian slaughterhouses, some of them are our American horses. This is so wrong and needs to stop now! Slaughter of horses can never be humane because they are flight animals and are scared to death just with the smells and everything it has to be so awful for them! will gladly sign this petition and any petition i see to stop this barbaric slaughter of our loved horses! i believe in the quote there are no unwanted horses just homeless at the moment. 100,000 die each year needlessly , that is not an outragous number that can't be controlled!! i support many different rescues and try and save as many as i can!! and will continue the fight!!

It is disgraceful and appalling what human beings do to other living beings simply because they walk on four legs instead of two. At what point is the human race going to become civilized finally?
