They're doing something positive for the community!! We need more situations like this all over the area.

I grew up in Hastings... known these boys my whole life... ive seen their hard work and dedication they've put into this project. It's a wonderful addition to the tourism in Trent Hills and would love to see people be able to enjoy it for years to come.

I’m signing this in support of bringing people together. It’s good for Trent hills. And for over all Heath to get out doors and listen to live music. ✌️

Music heals!

I think its great for the community and local businesses.

This event brings so many people together. It is good for the economy and the spirit of this town. We haven’t had a lot to look forward to over the last year and a half. Businesses are hurting if not completely going out of business. Yes there are downsides to events like these but the positive ones far outweigh the negative ones

Tammy Rose (Hastings, 2021-07-09)

I’m signing this because I was told to..lol.

Seriously though, I know these guys have worked tirelessly on this to happen even though they were deterred by the pandemic last year! This would be a huge economic boost to the entire Trent Hills area and beyond, not just Hastings! I’m not a country music fan myself but I think I know a good thing when I see it and this is a good thing! Let’s not do the typical Hastings thing and make this a big thing!!

Pete Kennedy (Hastings, 2021-07-09)

I’m signing because they donate to mental health which there is not enough support these days! Also Doug and John are great people and have work extremely hard for something they believe in!! Best of luck all the way from Petawawa

This is a wonderful festival and as an avid concert goer and photographer this kind of thing brings so many people together just to enjoy the wonderful talent that performs. I am a huge fan of this and Doug has been a friend of mine for many years and what he has done is quite amazing all the work that has gone into it is just as impressive. I am super proud of Doug and what he has accomplished.

I am signing this petition because I grew up in the small town of Warkworth and spent a lot of time in Hasting. It’s a beautiful town and Doug Oliver and John Seeney have brought this amazing festival from a idea to reality. This event would bring much needed entertainment and would stimulate the economy in Hastings and surrounding area.

Derek Galt (Peterborough, 2021-07-10)

I have watched, through Facebook posts, Doug pour his heart and soul in to this festival. Building it up from nothing just to be able to share his love for music and make people smile and be happy. This world needs more of that.

My Nephew Steven Hawley was one of the friends lost that Doug and Steve speak of. I think it is above admirable that these fellows are doing what they can to rise funds for mental health in order to help their community heal and get healthy.

They truly are a great group, well organized. I do believe they want to give back and do many of us country music lovers enjoy supporting groups and charities. If this is a way to help support then let us help through music venues.
