This is a barbaric and disgusting primitive disgrace that reflects that the local authorities are ignorant, incompetent and incapable of delivering the services that they get paid handsomely to deliver. The blatant disregard on the health , social and economic impact of their disregard is in direct conflict of their mandate.

Marie Boshoff (Eldoraigne, Centurion, 2020-01-31)

The sewage in the river is a major environmental risk for plants, animals and humans. We as humans are meant to take care of eachother, which requires the people paid to properly treat sewage before reintroducing the resultant (clean) water back into our river systems.

Pure neglect, useless governmental employees!

Francois Joubert (Centurion, 2020-01-31)

Tammy Van Eck (Hennopspark, Centurion, 2020-01-31)

I'm signing because, I believe that the wetlands, river banks and river can be restored to its original glory. The beauty of river areas is a priviledge I want my kids to experience and enjoy as well. I want the stop being put to the raw sewerage because I am concerned about our health in general. I want to live in a clean town. I want people around me to look up at examples in government and be proud to respect nature and the people around them. I want government to educate the uneducated of the hazards of raw sewerage, and I want to government to take ownership of poor facilities in underpriviledge areas, and build them proper toilets etc.

Mariette Scholtz (Centurion, 2020-01-31)

When we moved into Centurion 22 years ago, the river was clear and you could see fish and little crabs in the water. No plastic or raw surich in the water. My neighbour's spaniel dogs last year got abscess growths on the skin from swimming in the river. Water is a scarce commodity in Africa. We need to work together and inform, train and coach all oeople living near the river to be WATER AMBASSADORS and MAKE THEM PROUD of what they are achieving. Ignorance will sonk a nation's future.
