Innocence project...

(Houlton, 2018-11-05)

I am asking for a pardon for Brendan Dassey as he is an innocent man sitting in prison for 14 years now becase they pressured him to confess to something he didnt do. What if it was your brother or son, please make this stop and let him go home it has been long enough, justice needs to be done. Thank you

(Galanta, 2019-11-01)

#11

I’m signing because I am sickened of the Wisconsin police and courts handling of both cases. It is an embarrassment to the legal system and the Governor has the ability to undo a terrible wrong. A complete clear out of the police and lawyers is needed to avoid such blatant corruption and bias in the future. Enough is enough.

(Aberdeen, 2019-11-19)

#13

The conviction of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey is a gross miscarriage of Justice. It saddens me greatly to know that despite a wealth of evidence, they are in prison while the real murderer roams free.

(Chesterfield, 2019-12-06)

#14

this is so disturbing, what these 2 individuals have been through and for Steve it's the 2nd time. How awful the criminal justice system is in the USA, to use the tactics it did against a young boy in order to get to his innocent uncle and in the process 2 lives ruined, time which can never ever be given back, it makes me sick to think the perpetrator of this crime is still out maybe continuing on his crime spree, because he got away with it.
FREE STEVEN AVERY AND BRENDAN DASSEY enough is enough.

(Whanganui, 2019-12-09)

#17

THEY ARE INNOCENT

(mandan, 2019-12-23)

#18

The forensic evidence is beyond creditable. Its an outrage to see how very apparently the justice system failed these 2 VERY APPARENTLY Innocent men.... 1 just a boy at the time..... They need to atleast be able to have another trial WITH ACTUAL EVIDENCE!

(Springfield, 2019-12-30)

#19

HE IS INNOCENT!!!

(Ponteland, 2020-01-09)

#21

It’s a terrible injustice

(Wadebridge, 2020-01-18)

#23

Even with plenty of evidence two innocent people still sit in jail.
Mistakes were made from the beginning, this has to stop right now!
Brandon has lost his life because of their incompetence and lies!

(Hannover, 2020-01-29)

#25

Those poor men dont deserve to be in prison set them free, me and wife are 100% supporters FREE BRENDAN DASSEY AND STEVEN AVERY ❤❤❤❤

(Ashtabula, 2020-01-30)

#27

I am signing because I believe Brendan Dassey and Steven Avery to be innocent of all charges brought forward by the State of Wisconsin.

(Waukesha, 2020-02-01)

#29

Brendan Dassey is innocent and the state of WI police department are corrupt. END THE MADNESS NOW OF PREPARE FOR AN EVEN BIGGER, DOUBLE THE COST CIVIL LAW SUIT. At your peril. Stop digging yourself a bigger hole.

(London, 2020-02-10)

#32

This is a terrible injustice for the wrongly convicted. The appellate procedure needs change. A part of our criminal justice system normally overlooked by society is just as important for the wrongly convicted as it is for
an innocent human being. Making this man suffer after a clearly coerced confession from a 16 year old boy is outrageous!

(Nebo, 2020-02-25)

#35

I'm signing because in deep a terrible injustice was done

(colchester, 2020-04-14)

#37

Its absolutely disgusting that these people in power can keep this innocent man in prison and I dont know how they can sleep at night when they know hes innocent! Dont make any more excuses and do the right thing!

(Leeds, 2020-04-24)

#38

Brendan Dassey and Steven avery, without doubt are 100% innocent, this is so clear in every detail of trial, it is a disgrace that the law has kept them in prison, this needs to be corrected immediately, they must be freed.

(BROMLEY, 2020-04-24)

#40

Brendan is innocent 100 %

(Amsterdam, 2020-05-04)

#42

America is eating itself. What you do to your children! For shame.....a heathen idyll masquerading as god's country! Your day of judgement is coming and it is being televised for the rear of the worlds entertainment....for shame

(Dublin, 2020-05-07)

#44

Brendan Dassey is INNOCENT. London, UK

(Surrey, 2020-05-15)

#48

Brendan Dassey was coerced to give a false statement. It was unethical what they did to him! It breaks my heart!

(LEHI, 2020-06-13)

#49

I am absolutely appalled and devastated with what I have seen on ‘Making a murderer’ and cannot believe this happened in today’s so called fair justice system! WE MUST FREE THIS BOY!! I am a teen myself and have a brother around the age he was when he was convicted and the thought of anything like this happening to either of us makes me sick and the fact families have to go though this keeps me up at night.

(Malmesbury, 2020-06-19)

#50

I am signing because I am a US citizen from Pennsylvania and I feel 100% confident that Brendan Dassy and Steven Avery are innocent. I have lived abroad since 1997 and I just discovered Making a Murderer in April this year. Please pardon them both and make law enforcement find the real killer(s) of Teresa Halbach.

(BICESTER, 2020-06-30)

#52

Justice needs to be served for these two innocent people.

(Auckland, 2020-07-27)

#54

They are clearly innocent and it's absolutely ridiculous that this miscarriage of justice has been allowed to go on for so long. Wisconsin should do this to clear it's name because as of now Wisconsin is known as the corrupt state that doesn't believe in constitutional rights.

(San Diego, 2020-08-10)

#59

I want to believe that our justice system stands for the truth. In this case this system failed. Free Brendan Dassey and Steve Avery. They don't deserve to be punished for someone else's horrible crime.

(Spring, 2020-08-30)

#60

I am signing because I know that they are both innocent, there is more than evidence of their innocence, as well justice has not yet been done to Teresa Halbach, as remains a murderer on the loose ..

(Seixal, 2020-09-03)

#63

I’m signing this because after watching the trials I’m disgusted that the outcomes even happened. This is what a state government rules after the evidence shown? Their evidence wasn’t even reliable and the real killer is still out there

(Leawood, 2020-09-15)

#65

The state of Wisconsin is wrong and they need to let him out NOW.

(brooklyn, 2020-10-02)

#68

I believe these men are incocent the boy shouldn’t have been interviewed without a lawyer present and the higher ups have always had a problem with their family

(Southampton, 2020-10-16)

#73

Brendan Dassey is innocent and he needs to be released so he can be with his family

(Bedfordshire, 2020-10-28)

#74

the corrupt law enforcement at its finest! Those cops and anyone else in the legal system who had a hand in this should be put in prison. How much more corrupt can they be!

(Pasadena, 2020-11-05)

#77

They are innocent!

(Stockholm, 2020-11-22)

#81

From the footage seen in the documentary the interrogations were obviously conducted incorrectly in both cases, with leading questions and obvious manipulation, taking advantage of the cultural an intellectual disadvantage of the accused. I believe the documentary gives information the jury and even the judges never had access to, so more investigation is required. There is no objective proof they are guilty, so please let them be pardoned. Thank you.

(Margate, 2020-12-03)

#85

I'm signing because I believe they are innocent and have been framed for the murder of Teresa Halbach.

(Waterford, 2021-01-20)

#86

Brendan Dassey is a vulnerable adult who clearly was not fit to be questioned without an appropriate adult. He was convicted based on a confession that was inappropriately taken by a vulnerable child with neurological and processing difficulties. His lawyer in this case is horrendous and should be prosecuted himself.

(Brighton, 2021-01-28)

Of the constitution of the United States

(Forest Grove, 2021-01-29)

#89

7 yo can tell that both Brendan and Steven are innocent. What kinda corrupted nation are we living in?

(Honolulu, 2021-02-02)

#90

I believe both Steven & Brendon are innocent. They have lost enough of their lives!

(Neath, 2021-02-02)

#93

Miscarriage of justice

(Derby uk, 2021-03-03)

#95

In Scotland we find this case to be extremely shocking. The investigators hit Brendan dassy repeatedly in trying to cagole him into saying what they wanted. Brendan dassy got the murder senario from a James Patterson book called kiss the girls. The appeal court judge did not consider this when asking Laura nirider how he knew details of her supposed murder in the trailer. The whole case is a catalogue of errors and no one is brave enough to say look this has gone wrong we accept it and we will put it right. There is more than one victim here. And Theresa needs justice find the real killer.

(Tweedbank, 2021-03-17)

#98

Brendan dassey is 100% innocent. His confession was coerced.

(Verona, 2021-04-30)

#99

The justice system is extremely flawed. This boy was borderline mentally disabled and fed a confession by a broke, pound, country ass county. It is the moral thing to do

(Tucson, 2021-05-06)

#100

I believe in Brendan Dassey's innocence.

(Junction City, 2021-05-17)

#102

These men are clearly innocent and the treatment of Brendan was an abuse of power and abuse of a minor. Shocking tactics in a so called advanced nation in the 21st Century.

(Stockport, 2021-05-26)

#106

I believe Steven Avery and Bobby Dassey are innocent and were wrongfully convicted.

(Spokane, 2021-06-22)

#109

I am signing this petition because there is so much reasonable doubt that its a disgrace, give this man a fair trial in a different state with new jurors. The key was planted there for*****sake, he was setup and there is so much reasonable doubt.

(Brighton, 2021-07-24)

#110

These 2 men have lost their lives for NOTHING it’s time to right this wrong and let them go home.

#115

He should be set free, and have endless amount of apologies.

(Redditch, 2021-08-08)

#116

BRENDAN is 100% INNOCENT.
That the true Justice be done!

(Montigny-le-Tilleul, 2021-08-08)

#118

I believe these men were the victims of an ineffective at best, corrupt at worst, judicial process. To know there is ample evidence which throws doubt on their convictions but not to grant a retrial reflects very badly on the supreme and federal courts.

(HARLOW, 2021-08-08)

#119

This whole case has been an outrage. It's very obvious there is a huge miscarriage of justice. These men are innocent.

(Niagara Falls, 2021-08-08)

#120

The corruption has gone on long enough. These two men are innocent. The evidence of their innocence is overwhelming. The laws have been violated by the state. Again, the evidence is overwhelming.
Free them now

(Ferndale, 2021-08-08)

#121

There are innocent, the law is corrupt, and real killer(S) are free

(Londonderry, 2021-08-08)

#122

I totally believe Brendans arrest and conviction was unjust and unlawful. I believe he is INNOCENT.

(Swindon, 2021-08-08)

#128

I cannot believe after all the evidence supporting the innocence of these 2, not to even begin to mention the obvious corruption of the law enforcement, these 2 are still branded as guilty. Its disgusting and the whole world can see it.

(Guildford, 2021-08-08)

#130

INNOCENT!

(Richboro, 2021-08-08)

#131

Justice needs to be served

(Birmingham, 2021-08-08)

#132

I believe Brendan is innocent and was coerced into a false confession by manipulative police officers who took advantage of his learning disabilities. Please review his case and pardon him.

(Brisbane, 2021-08-08)

#133

I believe Steven and Brenden are innocent.

(Battlement Mesa, 2021-08-08)

#135

I strongly support the case for a pardon for Brendan Dassey.
It's totally shameful that Wisconsin has treated this beautiful soul in such a harsh way for something he didn't do.

(Surrey, 2021-08-08)

#138

Brendan Dassey and Steven Avery, were both wrongfully convicted, and both deserve to go home.

(Burntwood, 2021-08-08)

#141

These guys are innocent! We need real justice for Teresa!

(Jacksonville, 2021-08-08)

#142

They are both innocent and I believe that they was set up

(Birmingham, 2021-08-08)

#145

They didn’t do it!

(Essex, 2021-08-08)

#147

I'm signing because I believe they INNOCENT! If you even took a minute to review ALL the evidence, including NEW EVIDENCE, you yourself will see they are INNOCENT! Please review everything. Not everything is black and white.
Thank you

(Barrington, 2021-08-08)

#148

They need their freedom back! Give them justice!

(Thirsk, 2021-08-08)

#150

There's alot of evidence showing these guys are innocent and we're set up.. they need to be freed!!

(Branford, 2021-08-08)

#154

These two men are innocent and do not belong in jail.

(Greenwood, 2021-08-08)

#155

I believe there innocent especially Steven

(Mansfield, 2021-08-08)

#158

Steven y Brendan son inocentes. Presos de un sistema corrupto.

(Buenos Aires, 2021-08-08)

#162

It is clear there is was no original fair trial / procedures not followed by police. This is a breech of article 6 human rights, “a right to a fair trial” a trial starts after you are accused not just in a court trail.

(Barnstaple, 2021-08-08)

#163

I believe both the Avery men have been victims of a serious injustice. New evidence exhibited by his lawyer is evidence enough to show how much the state police went to in order to set Steven and Brendan up. The whole of Scotland is routing for Steven and Brendan to get justice!

(BATHGATE, 2021-08-08)

#166

they are innocent first of all and enough is enough

(Pocomoke City, 2021-08-08)

#167

There are both innocent men !
And this judicial system is corrupt !

(Courtepin, 2021-08-08)

#169

These 2 men have been railroaded by a judicial system that is clearly broken! How can United State Citizens follow something that is made of corruption ,greed , and cowards that will not stand up and step in to change it. Even if they did commit this horrific crime, although I 💯 percent believe they didn't , it is an injustice to the both of them that they never had a fair trial and at the least deserve that. But it is evident that these people calling the shots are afraid to expose the real criminals in all of this by not exposing all of the corruption that is obvious. Please ,please someone in the court system for once take a stand and do what is right! What is holding these people's conscience that they continue to allow injustice in America in such a way? Break this crazy bf it too late and our future is at stake bc the country is being run by a bunch of scared sheeple! Please I beg of whoever reads these comments to look closely and wake up to how your country is being led straight to failure because no one wants to "stand up for what is right!"

(Gladys, 2021-08-08)

#170

Brendan Dassey was 16 when he gave an unreliable, uncorroborated and inconsistent set of statements about a crime, details of which were provided to him by those interviewing him. His youth and cognitive and social limitations made him extremely sensitive to suggestibility, making his confession a text book example of a false coerced confession.

Steven Avery, already proven to have been wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for a rape case, had a civil suit of $36 million for his wrongful conviction. Thereafter, he was convicted for the rape and murder of a young woman. Since his conviction, compelling forensic evidence has been discovered that strongly points to his innocence.

(Buckingham, 2021-08-08)

#171

I believe them, not because of their wired but evidence doesn't add up. They doesn't get justice they got railroaded by the Manatawok police office and court system.

(Stevenson, 2021-08-08)

#172

I'm asking that Brendan Dassey be pardoned from a crime that he did not commit or was part of. Brendan got the worst treatment I've ever seen from the two detectives Mark and Fassbender. He was harassed, coerced and lied to, all which is against the law in other states. The Judge, Brendan appointed attorneys, and Prosecutor Kratz, along with all those who were soon to have been disposed from their jobs had Brendan guilty from the moment they pinned Ms. Halbach's death on Steve Avery. Brendan has lost too many years that it's time to let him go home. Please find empathy for the truth and let this young man have his life back. What if it was your son or daughter. I ask for clemency and release Brendan Dassey.
Thank you!

(Cockeysville Md, 2021-08-08)

#174

because I feel in my heart these men are innocent

(Coopersburg, 2021-08-08)

#176

This man is innocent.

(Wollongong, 2021-08-08)

#179

Brendan Dassey was bullied into a false confession by two professional interrogators who were very aware that they were manipulating a child, and that their actions would put Brendan where he is today.

(CAMPBELL RIVER, 2021-08-08)

#180

They are innocent

(Newmarket, 2021-08-08)

#181

It is evident that these men are clearly not guilty and that the ‘Police’ were/are corrupt!! Free these innocent men

(Woking, 2021-08-08)

#182

I'm sure there are not guilty

(Busby, 2021-08-08)

#183

These men are innocent.

(BROOKFIELD, 2021-08-08)

#184

I believe there has been massive corruption and these men are innocent. Keeping them locked away to save face of the police is disgusting. This is people’s lives you are messing with and all because the police can’t say yes we were wrong.

(London, 2021-08-08)

#185

I am signing because they are so obviously innocent and too much of their lives and the lives of their family and friends has been taken away .

(GIRVAN, 2021-08-08)

#187

Steven Avery is INNOCENT

(Fairchild, 2021-08-08)

#189

I have never seen, heard of or imagined any such injustice in my life...I find it so totally unbelievable and heartbreaking that theses two men (Brendan convicted as a child) have had their lives taken away from them and 'They Are Innocent!'

(Dunedin, 2021-08-09)

#190

I'm signing because I believe they are innocent and the trials were a farce and brendons confession was cohersed

(Tom price, 2021-08-09)

#198

This whole case is a farce, Wisconsin are making theirselves look so bent and corrupt to most of the western world, they need to right this wrong immediately before they damage the little credibility they still have

(Bath, 2021-08-09)
