Improve Members Booking Priority at Morgado Golf Club

Dear Sirs, Sr Rio and Sr Papa

Several of us have been a member of your Morgado Golf Club for many years. We appreciate the two courses very much as well as the friendly atmosphere in the club.

We are aware that the past one and a half year has been a challenging time for you. To support during these difficulties, we have continued our membership with you, paying the full fee even though the course/courses have been closed for shorter and longer periods.

Now that the restrictions have gradually been removed, we are all pleased to see that the utilization of the courses is increasing. However,  what we find odd is that the ability for members to book time slots is almost impossible, particularly on the Morgado course. 

As a member, we are authorized to book only seven days in advance, and when we do so all tee times are already taken, especially on the Morgado course. This rule does not apply to non-members (single green fee players and groups). 

The situation is particularly frustrating for all of us who spend spring and fall (high season) in the Algarve whilst residing in our home countries during summer and year-end (low season). I.e., your high seasons are also our high seasons. 

We pay you a premium for being members and hence we expect to be your priority. We would therefore expect and appreciate to at least have the same booking rights as common greenfee players.

We would appreciate to have your response to this letter prior of entering the 2022 membership.
