I signed to help bring awareness to the impact that J. P. Richardson (The Big Bopper) had on late '50's Rock 'n' Roll. He should be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame ASAP. I admire John Cumberland's efforts to get this done, and, I particularly applaud his visit to Sugar Hill Studios, here in Houston, to record his magnificent song, "Bopper and Me". The Holy Rocka Rollaz were the perfect choice, as was Sugar Hill. Whenever you visit Sugar Hill, you are reminded of all the great hits that were recorded there.  I have been in radio for 54 years, 45 of them in Houston, and it would be a great day when The Big Bopper is inducted.
