My Brothers deserve to see their grandfather indicted into the hall of fame after everything that has went on. I'm glad to see someone fighting to get it done. The big Bopper is well deserving of it. Thank you.

JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson Was Not Only A Great Disc Jocky, He Was Also A Great Rock N Roll Artist. He Was A Talanted Young Man. Having The Big Bopper In The Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Will Be A Special Way For Him To Be Remembered. He Left Behind A Great Legacy.

 JP Richardson was an early inovative force in the music industry not only as a World record breaking DJ,

but A top recording artist

and A hit making songwriter 

Also A he made the first Rock and Roll video 

He was way before his time infact he was a genius and I am proud to say Im going to do my damnedest to get him the recognition he deserves

The Big Bopper was a tremendous talent with behind the scenes projects that created and furthered the rock & roll movement. He did all the things that the R&R Hall of Fame says Connie Francis didn't do, which are keeping her out of the Hall of Fame

I signed to help bring awareness to the impact that J. P. Richardson (The Big Bopper) had on late '50's Rock 'n' Roll. He should be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame ASAP. I admire John Cumberland's efforts to get this done, and, I particularly applaud his visit to Sugar Hill Studios, here in Houston, to record his magnificent song, "Bopper and Me". The Holy Rocka Rollaz were the perfect choice, as was Sugar Hill. Whenever you visit Sugar Hill, you are reminded of all the great hits that were recorded there.  I have been in radio for 54 years, 45 of them in Houston, and it would be a great day when The Big Bopper is inducted.
