Making it to dear for families to go the afl are only worried about the corporate not the true fan that goes week in week out .
The food is too dear as well
Our membership that we pay for away games as well as home are just about useless for away due to making block busters games reserve seat only. The are people that want to stand yet can't just walk up like they used to be able to.

Variable pricing could work if (a) it didn't disguise a massive increase in admission costs for A grade games and (b) the excessive number of seating zones coupled with inconsistencies (price for a ticket for a seat in the exact same location but at the opposite end of the ground being in a completely different price bracket). Who-ever put together the myriad of seating zones at the MCG and price points has got it so wrong. Top level public reserve MCG should be a consistent price around the ground, up and down for starters, and then sold on a first in best dressed basis (the longer it takes you to book the higher the row you will end up in).

No matter what the afl claim, the reality is they will loose members and crowd attendance will decrease to a point that big stadiums will no longer be needed and we wont have the unbelievable crowd numbers that the afl is well known for

My son and his mates went to a game recently and were told
Their learners permit was not good enough to buy
A concession ticket they had to have a school photo ID this
Is a disgrace they were made to buy adult tickets make the
Tickets affordable AFL more people will come to the games

The AFL Commission have lost sight of is that this game of Aussie Rules football belongs to the fans.

Ever since our great games humble beginnings in 1841 by our forebears, forming teams amongst citizenries of cities and towns around our country, our great game has gradually been stolen from the fans and participants by this lot that now calls itself the Australian Football League.

For many decades it has placed large corporate companies and celebrities up high above the fans the latter being treated with disdain.

There is very little respect for original owners of the game, our forefathers who originated it on paddocks around this country. They had no intention that their favorite past-time would eventually become a greedy big corporate conglomerate making money and taking their peoples’ game away from being a sport.

Give it back, AFL, before we the people take it back!

grossly unfair, we pay a level of membership that allows us access to this game, not have to pay $30 per seat on top of what is covered. No concession discount either. Unaffordable for pensioners and low income earners. Money hungry AFL that really doesn't need to do this.

#20: not about how rich, we have pensioner concession 17 game gold membership and are supposed to be covered for replacement games. Not in this case.  We are usually allowed access to bays 29 to 36 for replacement games. so so unfair. Memberships will be either reduced or lost. hhmmm

Stop pandering to the corporates & sponsors & put the grassroot supporters - US - first!! I am slowly losing my passion for this great game of ours due to ridiculous ticketing prices, and the price of food & beverages at the grounds. If you didn't have us fans, you wouldn't have a game, so think about that in your luxurious corporate boxes everytime you attend the games, which YOU don't have to pay for!!
