The Bhagavad-Gita has been one of the most sacred scriptures of the Hindu culture. I don't understand why it is considered to be "extremist literature". I would like to know what content makes it extremist literature. The Bhagavad-Gita, focuses on the teachings and stories based on traditional Hindu stories. Why must another country, other than India, makes such a drastic decision? This news is unacceptable and is conducive to much aggression within Hinduism. I humbly ask the Russian Court to please reconsider their decision in putting down such a holy scripture as the Bhagavad-Gita as "extremist literature".

Bhagavath Gita shows man how to live a divine life, a life of morality, a life of fearlessness, a life of Joy. I pray for the people who are mentally ill (those "banning" Bhagavath Gita), and hope that they realise that what they are doing is not only incorrect but crazy

Can't imagine as to why any society or Nation would even consider any Holy Book, especially a book like Srimad Bhagwat Gita, that simply shows ythe way to happiness and God through righteousness. Please tell me if there is anything offensive in the book toward any segment of Peoples.

The high class literature of both countries should be freely available and be promoted for the welfare of all people to promote peace in the world.The Gita is appreciated allover the world by great personalities and leaders, above all Gita is regarded by more than TWO Billion people on this planet as the most balanced spiritual literature. Bhagavad-gita to be read with devotion and respect. It teaches about practical lessons needed for good life. There is no extremism and detailed study of Bhagavad-gita makes man more humble and down to earth. Swami Vivekananda preached about Gita and there was a no humble man than him in known history of religion scholars.
