WE CRY JUSTICE FOR CWECWE

**Petition Against Gender-Based Violence and Justice for Cwecwe**

To: The Department of Education, The South African Police Service, The Ministry of Justice, and All Concerned Authorities

We, the undersigned, as members of FRUITFUL WOMEN and concerned citizens, strongly condemn all forms of gender-based violence (GBV) and call for immediate justice for Cwecwe, a young child who was allegedly violated within school premises by the very person entrusted to ensure their safety—the school principal.

This horrific act of violence against a defenseless child is a grave violation of human rights, child protection laws, and the moral fabric of our society**. Schools should be a haven for learning and growth, not a place of fear and abuse. The fact that such an incident has allegedly occurred within a school setting, involving an authority figure, is deeply alarming and demands urgent action.

We demand:

1. A thorough, transparent, and immediate investigation into the allegations to ensure that justice is served.

2. The suspension and legal prosecution of the accused while the investigation is ongoing.

3. Protection and psycho-social support for Cwecwe and their family, ensuring they receive the necessary counseling and legal assistance.

4. Stricter policies, monitoring, and training in all educational institutions to prevent such incidents from recurring.

5. A nationwide campaign to enforce stronger measures against GBV and child abuse in schools.

We will not stand by while our children suffer at the hands of those in power. We urge the government, law enforcement, and education departments to act swiftly and decisively. Justice for Cwecwe is justice for all victims of GBV.
