This man was always known on the ridge to be kind and hardworking. He'd never hurt a soul ,except to protect his family. Release him! They need him. I've known him and his family since I was a small child. Never felt nothing but respect for them! Please do what is right for this family!

Because I think any of us would do the very same, he was protecting his family.

I am from Morehead and have seen Mr, Johnson bring his daughter and wife into Christian soccial services many times and has always been a gentlemen, always giving respect to everyone, i have seen him and his daughter at the grocerie store shoping and he was always such a well manered man and always seem to be such a loving Father. and Husband.

I'd just like to say I've known Ted & his family for around 35 years, & any & everyone that knows him & his family, knows they're simple, hard working, peaceful, loving Americans just like most everyone else living out on this ridge. Teddy is not the type of man that would harm anything or anyone, unless his family or friends were in REAL Danger. he's simply not that kind of man.

A person has the right to protect their family. We live in the United States not in one of these stupid ass country's where a person can do what ever they want. God bless us all.

I know this man very well he is a very nice and kind man and will do whatever he can to help someone and he is quiet and stays to himself and the way I see it he's in trouble for protecting his family and that's not right

The police did not protect this family. Do the Ky police not own a tazer gun? Why did they not bring this boy down when he was running into the woods. Why did the Ky State police  LEAVE a man that can hardly walk, a woman in a wheelchair that cannot move from the waist down and a young girl? Set this man free!

Amen!! The police definietly let this family down. Where I live the police would not have left until they had this man in handcuffs. This a very sad situation that could have been prevented had the police done their job.
