This is outrageously unfair when neither owner nor dogs have done anything wrong. Given that there is already a huge problem with abandoned staffies in this country, what sense does it make to split up a pair of happy dogs and take a nice dog away from a loving owner. So heart-breaking!

Because Hackney council are wrong. If she wasn't allowed to have two dogs in her home then they should of said so when she was offered the tenancy not a year later !

Because it's wrong to make people get rid of their pets
Herts council have made all their Tennant spay and castrate their dogs so no breeding
all dogs must be micro chipped
and they help with any costs if needed....

I think it's a discrase that Hackney homes are trying to separate one of the dogs from it's owner and the other dog myself and my entire regiment are disgusted on what they are trying to do

One of my soldiers who knows both the dogs and owner on a personal level and brought it to our attention about there local council trying to remove one of her dogs from the property in the borough of Hackney and we are discussed by the news about it that dogs at that age should not be re homed as it is very hard and both the owner and one of my soldiers love the both the dogs and should be aloud to remain together and there should be no futher action taken about this matter in our minds

I think it is wrong for councils to tell tennants who they can and can't live with , if you can have multiple children then you should be able to have more than one dog , as long as your rent is paid and your not a pest you should not be dictated to as to how you live your life
