Bring Michele Selin back as the Marina Service Unit Support Specialist

We, the Marina Service Unit of the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, hereby request that Michele Selin return as the Service Unit Support Specialist for the Marina Service Unit.  

The Marina Service Unit is one of the premier service units in Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles.  This was achieved by the collaboration between our support and leadership teams.  The relationship between the Support Specialist, Recruiter, and Service Unit are vital in helping continue to offer the best service to our troops, leaders, and girls.  Michele and Erica Henderson do that for the Marina Service Unit. 

Since Michele was removed as the Marina Service Unit Support Specialist, because we are a strong service unit and Michele us needed in areas that need extra support. We have suffered through several specialists that have either quit or been fired from Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles.  Additionally, the quality of customer service has suffered and frustrated our leaders, which has had a negative impact on fall product and cookie sales and could potentially effect retention.

We are volunteers, not paid employees, and should be rewarded for being a successful service unit. Michele and the Marina Service Unit Leadership Team work incredibly well together and we ask that GSGLA support us by returning Michele to her position as Support Specialist to the Marina Service Unit.
