Kamloops Climate Action Pledge

Thanks for supporting climate action in Kamloops!

You're receiving this email because you signed a pledge supporting local climate action, either at our rally in November, or online since then. Thanks for doing that!

Transition Kamloops will be sending out a newsletter in the next few days with other easy-to-do actions that you can take to show support for local climate action. We invite you to join our community by signing up to receive our newsletter, if you're not already getting it. (The last one went out January 6—we usually send them out monthly-ish, but of course you can unsubscribe at any time).

Here's one quick thing you can do right now: post a comment on the City's Let's Talk page telling Councillors that you want to see funding for the Community Climate Action Plan put into the municipal budget. (If you aren't already registered on the City's Let's Talk site, you'll need to set up an account, but it's really simple).

Our elected reps need to hear from citizens right now that climate action is a priority. Your voice matters—together, we're stronger!
