PARENTS STAND TOGETHER FOR ZERO TOLERANCE OF DRUGS IN OUR SCHOOL
PARENTS OF BYFORD SECONDARY COLLEGE....
We are parents who are aware of drugs within our school as well as every other school and we all want to put a positive foot forward and help to prevent drugs amongst students from becoming a wide spread issue .
We want our children to go to school without the fear of being offered or pressured into taking, buying or dealing drugs and help the community deal with these issues.
We are providing a means to an end, we are giving permission and petitioning to have police sniffer dogs to come to the school and have the students and their bags inspected for drug substances.
It has been a great success for other schools to have the dogs come around whilst children were lined up on the school oval with their bags and have them inspected.
We want our school and our children to thrive.
