Support for Phyllis Jowell Jewish Day School

Phyllis Jowell Jewish Day School (PJJDS) is a private primary school currently situated in Camps Bay. PJJDS currently has roughly 200 children enrolled and focuses on dual stream secular and religious studies. Over the past number of years, the school has grown tremendously due to the high-quality values-driven education and strong focus on community involvement that are on offer. As a result, PJJDS has outgrown its current campus and we are looking to relocate to a new site in Sea Point where most of the student body lives.

The Western Cape Government has recently put the Tafelberg High School grounds up for tender (located on Main Rd, Sea Point). This site provides us with a wonderful opportunity to grow the school to even greater accomplishment. The site is ideally situated for the majority of the school's families and a large portion of the Jewish community in general. Establishing PJJDS on that site would restore a historic school building and in turn spark a wave of investment and focus right in the heart of Sea Point.
