We want the right to choose our medical decisions for our children without segregation with masks or any other repercussion toward our children.

Teresa Zbihley (Moon Township, 2021-07-23)

Parents should have freedom to make medical choices for their children.

Julia Wilhelm (Moon Township, 2021-07-23)

I have seen what a negative impact maaks had on my grandsons. Therefore, I am for UNMASKING our students.

Both of my children are special needs and their mental health has been significantly impacted by the mandates from covid over the past year and a half. They are autistic and rely heavily on facial expression for proper social cues and for emotional regulation. We have a large special needs population in Moon. Last year, you asked for parental input. And then didn't even act on what the majority wanted. This year, you did not even consider parental input. That is very concerning. We are only asking for a parents right to choose what is best for their own child.

(This concerns the board alone and NOT those directly involved in education, just for clarification)

Karen O'Day-Cooper (Moon Twp, 2021-07-23)

This is wrong. Children should NOT be required to wear masks. That is not your decision but the parents decision. This is not healthy physically or mentally for children of all ages.

Ada Henderson (Coraopolis, 2021-07-23)

#15

My kids my choice. Children shouldn't be singled out for medical choices. Kids are almost completely unaffected by covid

Heike Fonzi (Coraopolis, 2021-07-23)

#18

I believe that everyone has a right to make their own choice! Bullying is real in High School. There are medical reasons for many. Singling out students is wrong, causing mental health issues along with division.

Diana Mamone (Moon Township, 2021-07-23)

Parents have the right to decide healthcare for their own children...not the school board. These are our kids and we decide, after all, we pay the taxes that pay the bills for these schools. And Parents should decide how their children are handled.

Michael Staaf (New brighton, 2021-07-23)

Masks do not prevent the transmission of China Virus…

Michael Dandrea (Moon Twp, 2021-07-23)

#27

The kids need to be able to breathe freely.

Corey Kelley (Coraopolis, 2021-07-23)

#35

We should have a choice for our children. They should not be required to wear masks to school.

Loren Aiello (Moon Township, 2021-07-23)

#37

Masks should be optional. People's lives should not be affected just because some people live in fear.

Mackenzie Fasone (Moon Township, 2021-07-23)

#38

To make masks optional. We live in American and we have been given the right to choose. Our bodies our choice. End the mask mandate!!

raquel diamond (Moon Twp, 2021-07-23)

#44

Let us choose to wear mask or not.

Larry Ervin (Moon Twp, 2021-07-24)

#46

I dont want my kids forced to wear a mask all year. No!!

Carrie Wagner (Moon twp, 2021-07-24)

#47

My grandchildren need to experience school and not a place where kids can't be normal kids!

Debra Sylvester (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#53

It just needs to be a choice.

Megan Miller (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#55

Parental choice

Eileen Stockline (Crescent, 2021-07-24)

#56

I believe parents should make decisions for what is best for their child. It is not the job of the SB to play the role of parent.

Mary Blose (Moon, 2021-07-24)

#59

Its time to move on. Its insane to make people wear masks when the science doesn’t support it. Kids with disabilities are suffering from not being able to read social signals and facial expressions

Alex Angevine (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

I do not want to have my child segregated. This vaccine is not approved therefore I will not put poison in my child's system and I think it's ridiculous that the school system wants to segregate our children for them to be made fun of. We have an entire Democratic party on the board and you're supposed to be the party of acceptance you're the party of division

Gina Giampietro (MOON TOWNSHIP, 2021-07-24)

#61

I believe Masks should be optional

Patricia Stockline (Alliquippa, PA 15001, 2021-07-24)

#64

Masks aren't necessary. Not wearing it

Amber Torreance (Crescent Township, 2021-07-24)

#69

Masks are stupid and children have no issues. All events this summer have been optional and 90% choose not to mask and children had no issues.

Dan Rabe (15108, 2021-07-24)

#70

It should be parents choice, not the school!

Cecelia Vallandingham (Moon township, 2021-07-24)

#75

I’m signing because this issue is not going to go away and it’s time to live with it. Freedom of choice for families is important and masks should not be forced upon anybody any longer.

Ryan Kennedy (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#78

Masks are detrimental to the health and well-being of children when compared to the absolutely low risk they experience!

Vera Kasparek (Moon Twp, 2021-07-24)

Students should not be segregated based on vaccine status. Everything should be a personal choice. This is America.

All people ages 12+ can get the vaccine and wear masks if they are in fear of Covid. Those that do not feel it is a threat should be allowed to choose not to mask or vaccinate.

Diana Scally (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#88

Children are breathing in unhealthy air particles IN masks. Immune systems need normal regular infection cycles to build strength and immunity to a variety of illness. Masks do not keep out Covid strains. It’s all a big rhetoric. Please let our kids not grow up with fear and confusion to satisfy adult politics.

Jill Mattarochia (Coraopolis, 2021-07-24)

#92

The infection rate in Allegheny county does not justify masking our children. It should be a parents choice to mask our children given the current state of infection.

Amy Stuart (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#94

Parents should make the decision on whether their minor children should wear masks to our public district school.

Barbara Nolfi (Moon twp, 2021-07-24)

#96

As far as I am aware, school masking is not a requirement of the country, the state, or the county. Rather, this was a decision made by a small group of people with no input, discussion or regard for parents.
Some schools, including our neighbor, Montour, are making masks optional. Last year Montour went to school from the beginning of the year (Moon did not) and they did well. Montour had a prom (Moon did not) and they did well. Now, once again, Montour is giving the freedom of choice to parents and families, and Moon is not. Montour has figured out ways to make these things work. Moon can too.

I have a young grandson who had to wear a mask to preschool last year. The kids would drop their masks on the floor and then have to put them back on. Because of masks they were often touching their faces. The masks were unsanitary at best. If we follow the science masks are not necessarily for children.

Sharon Graham (Moon e, 2021-07-24)

#117

It has been shown that children have very small chance to catch or spreading the virus. Potential breathing and social risk I far greater concern.

Paul Duncan (Moon Twp, 2021-07-24)

#119

Our kids have a civil right to breath fresh air. Stop taking our freedoms away and give the parents to right to choose what is best for their children.

Paul Duncan (Moon twp., 2021-07-24)

#124

I am a practicing pediatric dental hygienist and I have been taught in my studies and training of infectious diseases. I believe it is causing more harm for the children to wear masks physically and psychologically.

Sherry Ricci (McKees rocks, 2021-07-24)

#127

With vaccines available and the minimal risk posed by the virus to those under 20, every parent should be able to determine if and how they want to protect their child.

Mark Stiffler (Moon, 2021-07-24)

#129

I'm signing because I am a resident and taxpayer and concerned citizen of Moon Township and former member of the Moon Area School Board.

Barbara Ploy (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#130

My niece goes to moon schools. Masks don’t work. I wore a mask all the time and I got COVID anyway.

Lucie Roth (Wexford, 2021-07-24)

#135

There is proof that children do not need to mask.

Brian Brinza (Coraopolis, 2021-07-24)

#136

Masks are useless and only being used to control the sheep

Allen Lerch (Moon Township, 2021-07-24)

#137

There are at least 12 studies that show that masks do not prevent disease. They cause more disease and ill health. They are filled with all kinds of toxins including tuberculosis according to a study done on a child's mask at the end of a school day. Very dangerous. CO2 increases and the child's brain is depleted of O2. Look at the studies!!

Dianne Paul (Moon, 2021-07-24)

#138

As a parent it should be our choice rather our children wear a mask or not. Not that of a school board!

Melissa Turner (Crescent, 2021-07-24)

#139

I believe parents should have the option of not having our kids wear a mask. This should not be dictated to us by the school board.

James Turner (Crescent, 2021-07-24)

#144

Masks are not needed
No scientific evidence

Amy M Ottaviani (Moon Twp, 2021-07-24)

#146

Follow the science!

Al Handrick (Moon Twp, 2021-07-24)

#150

I feel mask usage should be a choice, not a mandate.

Brad Grimm (Moon Twp, 2021-07-24)

#152

Masks should be an option.

Amanda Maxwell (Coraopolis, 2021-07-24)

I'm signing because it is my right as a parent and citizen to choose what medical practices are performed on my children. There is little data showing masking efficacy (excepting propery worn double strapped KN95 masks...which are very hard to breathe in)...and it only hurts kids psychologically and emotionally to force them to wear masks all day for 2 years of their developmental life. (My son gets severe migraines from overheating wearing any kind of mask. I will not tolerate him having migraines and failing out of school because he is forced to wear a piece of ineffective cloth over half of his face.) It is my body, my choice. My kids' mental and physical health...my choice. Their mental and physical health is my top priority. I also do not want to see discrimination against my children if we do not choose to be vaccinated with experimental vaccines. (I am not an anti-vaxer...all of my kids have had regular vaccines. We do not, however, have years of data to show that these new vaccines do not have harmful side effects in kids.) We should NEVER see kids without masks at school just because they are vaccinated, singling out kids who are notvaccinated...being forced to put (innefective) coverings over their face. If some kids choose to wear masks...or double masks...more power to them! My children will grow up free and unafraid to live life.
Masks by personal choice only!
Thank you!

Kristen Koepfer (Moon Twp., 2021-07-24)

#172

Kids deserve to be mask free!!!

Andrea Diaz (Moon township, 2021-07-24)

#173

I'm signing because neither the masks nor the vaccination have proven to be of any benefit whatsoever in stopping the spread of anything; in fact, they have both been proven to be harmful to your health. None of this is backed up by science or fact.

Cheryl Hite (Monroeville, 2021-07-25)

#177

I’m signing because I believe in medical freedom. I believe that every family should have the right to decide what’s best for themselves. Medical decisions should not be left up to the school district in any way, shape or form. I’m signing to fight for my rights as a parent and citizen if Moon Township.

Vanessa Fachet (Moon Township, 2021-07-25)

#189

Fear is not a virtue. Forced masking at this point is child abuse!

Joshua Fusco (Moon Twp, 2021-07-25)

#191

I’m signing because of the fatigue created for my children from wearing a mask all day. They come home exhausted from the cumbersome act of wearing a mask 7+ hours a day. My child has seen their teacher outside of school this summer and the teacher said “I have never seen your smile until now.” Please consider the psychological and developmental implications this is having on these children.

Erica Fusco (Moon, 2021-07-25)

#199

Masks should be optional!

Rachael Smith (Moon Twp, 2021-07-25)

#200

Follow the science.... Let the children breathe.
