I dont agree with being fined.

MILAN BEHARIE (KEMPTONPARK, 2021-02-26)

#3

We should not be fined for accidently driving 61 to 63. Sometimes it's just a small marhin

Angela Cromarty (Kempton Park, 2021-02-27)

#5

I object to the fines handed out in Serengeti
I am not responsible for outsiders fines
Their should be a difference of 5km

Louise Szulc (Witfontein, 2021-02-27)

#10

The fines should be on a scale as previously was the case. R500 irrespective of whether you do 40.1 or 59.9 is not reasonable. Two month delay in informing residents is not acceptable. Being liable for pins issued is not reasonable. Cameras that are fixed in certain parts of the estate prejudice those living in those areas, it should be randomly assigned.

Adrian Pratt (Kempton Park, 2021-02-27)

I’m all for law in a FAIR situation.

Bev Souvaris (Kempton Park, 2021-02-27)

#15

I am signing this because as much as I understand the need to police safety on the Serengeti Estate roads, it needs to be fair and equitable to all.

Gillian Ker-Fox (Johannesburg, 2021-02-27)

#19

The current system implemented is unlawful whilst it is important to curb the speeding by all transgressors but it should be done in the right manner

Liesel Robson (Johannesburg, 2021-02-27)

#34

I’m signing I have been given a lot of speeding tickets and I don’t understand how coz I was driving below 60. Someone need to explain this

Fanie Nhleko (Kempton park, 2021-02-28)

#35

I'm singing this because O dont think its being done in a very legal way.

Izelle Van Kraayenburg (Kempton Paek, 2021-02-28)

#38

I have numerous fines at 40km and 41km this is not fare the 10% must be reinstated

Frantz Taylor (Johannesburg, 2021-02-28)

#46

Ridiculous that the same people we voted to represent us on the board believe they have the right to implement draconian rules with total disregard for the spirit of the initiative

Sven Blom (Kempton Park, 2021-03-01)

#49

Speeds and fines should be per AARTO:
Speeding
Exceeding the speed limit by:
Violation Fine
11 km/h to 15 km/h R250
16 km/h to 20 km/h R500
21 km/h to 25 km/h R750
26 km/h to 30 km/h R1 000
31 km/h to 35 km/h R1 250
36 km/h to 40 km/h R1 500
Above 40 km/h Board

Paying fines for visitors and couriers is unreasonable. One has no control over couriers especially.

Bridget Rampedi (Kempton park, 2021-03-01)

#53

I feel paying fines for visitors or contractors is not fair and illegal.
Happy to pay fines as resident, if I was in the wrong.

Ruan Kukard (Kempton Park, 2021-03-01)

#54

I feel it's completely unfair to punish one person for someone else's crime...

Donovan Souvaris (Kempton Park, 2021-03-01)

#55

We cannot be held accountable for delivery people speeding in the estate

Rachel Neville (Jhb, 2021-03-01)

#58

The system is unfair.
Who pays for on residents, visiting Mozza, functions or Serengeti sales? They dont get res access codes?
As well as parents dropping off kids at Serengeti entering North Gate speed through estate to get to the school? Non res again.

Cindy Brits (Kempton Park, 2021-03-01)

#64

We didn’t know about camera until we got all the fines.

Nerisa De graaff (Kempton Park, 2021-03-01)

I cant be held accountable for any speeding fines outside of my registered vehicles in the state ie delivery vehicles or visitors , thats complete and utter nonsense. This will never hold up in court which I will pursue should the SPOA fine me as such.

Mark Neville (Kempton Park, 2021-03-01)

#75

Because penal values are very excessive and the was no consultation

Benedict Matinise (Kemptonpark, 2021-03-02)

#76

I am not against speed control but they way it’s done here leave a lot to be desired. They can do speed humps. Far much effective

Pandelani Munyai (Jhb, 2021-03-02)

#77

I do not agree with how the speeding regulation was implemented and communicated.

Sello Nzama (Johannesburg, 2021-03-02)

#82

As a concern resident,I’m against the speed fines in the whole Estate,no one is going to duplicate our traffic department in the Estate.

Rufus Ramokgopa (Ekurhuleni, 2021-03-02)

#90

This camera is incorrect!

Sifiso Biya (Gauteng, 2021-03-02)

#92

The speed calibration is made to squeeze us for every little not to penalize speeding. It’s rubbish 😫

Vhonani Mudau (Serengeti, 2021-03-02)

#94

I'm signing because i don't agree with the implementation and accuracy of these speeding fines.

Takanyiswa Mahuku (Kempton Park, 2021-03-03)

#95

I hope cameras are also being installed at Mozzi for the under aged golf cart drivers to be fined as rules must be applied equally and not some rules like speeding only

Gerhard Snyman (KemptonPark, 2021-03-04)

#98

I am signing because I feel its a harsh and unfair practice especially the amounts charged for specific offenses committed. How do u justify the price??

Jacob Maponya (Kempton Park, 2021-03-04)

#100

I feel R500 for 1km over the limit is ridiculous and there should be a percentage grace. Also, i don’t mind paying when I’m wrong, but the also fine youngsters on golf carts

Anine Kukard (Kempton park, 2021-03-04)

#104

I don't agree that I have to pay for couriers/ my visitors.
Their registration details are taken at entrance so each one is responsible for themselves.

Alice Piktija (Johannesburg, 2021-03-04)

#106

Feel it’s VERY unfair for the home owners to be fined for driving offenses fine by other's eg courier company’s, visitors, contractors. Surly it’s not correct to fine us if we not the ones committed the offense!!!!

Ana Jardim (Kempton park, 2021-03-04)

#110

The issuing of fines in the estate is in contravention with roads and traffic act

Mmalehumo Tema (Kempton park, 2021-03-04)

#111

Majority of our household fines are for going 65/67 Km.

Quite ridiculous being fined R500. The car that got the most fines does not have an LCD screen to tell you EXACTLY what speed you are driving.

Chiara Gomes (Kempton Park, 2021-03-05)

#117

Unfair illegal process followed,

KS Watridge (Kempton Park, 2021-03-07)

#119

I’m signing because I fully support the rules and their enforcement, but in order to be effective they have to be seen as fair, reasonable, equitable and just.

Moeketsi Mosweu (Serengeti Estates, 2021-05-25)

I am opposing speed fines in estate

Lijeng Mokoatle (Gauteng, 2021-05-29)

#133

It is the right thing to do. We also need more transparency in the estate.

Maubane Mahlare (Ekurhuleni, 2021-06-01)

#136

There is an opportunity to improve technology and process to achieve fairness, promptness and an improved Serengeti experience.
