St kevins should be given league of Ireland status

It's a great club and has some great players coming true

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#8

It has to happen

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#10

I think St. Kevins should be an LOI club.

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#11

This is a no-brainer. The club is going from strength to strength and the FAI are lucky that the club wants to join. They now have unrivalled facilities and a proven track record. Just look at the players playing in the LOI now that have learned their game at Kevin's - Ronan Finn,Sean Gannon,Karl Moore to name just a few.

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#14

Former st Kevin's player and have seen the talent that's come through 1st hand also have cousin who plays for U16's and probably best underage team I've ever watched I have been watching them since under 12's and there is definitely many kids off that side professional standard some already with contracts.

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

St. Kevin's Boys provided me with world class training, and numerous fantastic opportunities over the years. Its is a serious club, with a serious track record, and people travel serious distances from all over the country to play there. It would be more than a shame if it didn't get the serious status it deserves. The clubs contribution to Irish football and beyond is well noted and unmatched. For Irish football to continue on an upward trajectory St Kevin's Boys needs to be given LOI status.

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#18

I've witnessed the success of this great club for more than half my life. It's more than deserved for this to happen. Constant flow of talent being produced for Irish football on a yearly basis.

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#19

This club has produced players that are play top flight football in England so they should get League of Ireland status.

(Tallaght, 2016-11-30)

#20

I'm signing because, one of the most prolific and successful clubs at developing players for (a) international squads at all ages and (b) the league of Ireland in recent years should simply not be left on the outside. It makes no sense whatsoever.

The ineptitude of numerous people at various LOI clubs across the land is plain to see. These people should not be protected they should be outsted.

(Ashbourne, 2016-11-30)

#21

I feel they deserve the status because of there ongoing success

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#27

I'm signing because they are the best club in the country and can compete at this level no problem do the right thing for football

(Ashbourne county Meath, 2016-11-30)

#30

It's only right

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#35

I can see the work being done on a weekly basis developing players for the future .... at ALL levels.

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#36

I want st Kevin's boys to be apart of something bigger such as league of Ireland

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#37

My son has played there since he was six now twelve and he loves it, training facilities second to none and the new all-weather Wow

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#40

Seems to be afraid as they know St Kevins Boys would put most if not all LOI clubs to shame

(Tullamore, 2016-11-30)

#44

The FAI are making a huge mistake taking this route and will destroy grass roots Football in this country

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#45

I'm signing cos I believe it wud be a shame for clubs like st Kevin's have produced more players for this country than most LoL clubs have show have a proven track record in this field and allowing them into the LoL will allow them to continue this

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#46

So sad that all the effort care and hard work placed with these children, they cannot be considered for LOI. This club has produced many a talented player rules need to changed

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#51

This is a great club provided the local area with a place to play football develop and move to england.so why not try keep the lads in.ireland and.make the league better they have a youth setup that cant be beatable and the facilities is top class...they have to be granted status sooner rather then later.skb chris .s

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#58

St kevins boys has produced some of our most talented footballers over the past 50 years. Liam Brady, Ian Harte, Damien Duff, Robbie Brady, Jeff Hendricks. The club also provides football for all levels with up to 40+ teams.

(Finglas, 2016-12-01)

#60

Kevin's are a huge club for young players

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#61

It is typical of the powers in Irish Football to exclude a club who is run better than most LOI clubs and they know it but they seem to think given youth football to LOI clubs is the way forward some train in Car Parks and this s the way forward for our future some LOI clubs are in existence for over 100 years but never had the foresight to nurture Youth players , you have to ask the question why why why

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#62

Kevins will only help improve any new league set up because they will bring with them a readymade structure of quality and level of professionalism that others will have to try to match

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#64

I am lucky enough to see first hand the great work Kevin's do with kids, teens and young adults !! They do more than teach them new skill they are mentors !! To bring from under 13 and not give st Kevin's league of Ireland status you will be taking away the brillant guidance and care they receive

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#68

I used to play for Kevins and know how good this club is..always has been and always will be to young players.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#69

St. Kevin's Boys deserve support

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#70

I have seen first hand how well run the club is, the club has better facilities and better run than some league of Ireland clubs and would certainly hold its own if not better if given league of Ireland status

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#71

Skb are by far the best school boy club in Ireland

(Wicklow, 2016-12-01)

#75

Better run club than most LOI. Interests of player at heart. Proven track record of developing players.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#76

St.Kevins Boys is without a doubt the most successful pathway for Irish kids for the sport of football,

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#79

I am a coach at the club

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#89

I'm signing because as a development coach in Kilkenny myself I strongly believe St Kevin's, if it's their wish should be allowed to benefit from the years of work and development they have applied to these young players rather than seeing other clubs do so, it's should be their decision as a club which avenue they now take and nobody should have the right to dismiss that decision, best of luck with your endeavours and keep up the excellent work.
Ger.

(Kilkenny, 2016-12-01)

#90

I'm signing because St Kevin's got me a club in England and many of my friends. There getting boys to England but are not allowed in the league of Ireland? That makes a load of sense?

(Herthfordshire, 2016-12-01)

#91

St Kevin's should be given League of Ireland status. A fantastic set up club, probably one of the best in Ireland

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#92

We need more league teams and St Kevins would fit the bill nicely

(Wexford, 2016-12-01)

#93

I'm signing because SKB have a proven track record in developing young players and have consistently provided a pathway for young players in to professional football

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#94

They deserve it

(Adelaide, 2016-12-01)

#100

To get the lads LOI status

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#101

Because that's the way it should be

(Melbourne, 2016-12-01)

#104

It agree

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#105

Yes st kevins should be given league of ireland status they are one of the most if not the most successful schoolboy clubs in ireland at all ages with their facilities alone they are better than some loi clubs some of these clubs have no training grounds of their own stats alone show how successful they are as a club with so many of their ex players playing abroad

(dublin, 2016-12-01)

#106

I played with St Kevin as a lad, they're a club who take great care of the lads playing and always did there upmost to make sure all the boys were involved!
They have produced international players through the years and have a couple in the Ireland team now! It will be a terrible shame to take all the good work of the past and to prevent the continuation of the work that's already been done by this traditionally excellent club

(Helsinki, 2016-12-01)

#107

I'm all for fairness in the game.its a great club well run and has done more for the future of the Irish game than any other club in the country

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#109

I'm signing because I'm shocked what's happening to a very successful schoolboy club and probably more.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#112

I'm singing because I have played for St. Kevin's for many years and my father Ciaran is a major hand in the club. I'm proud of him.

(Sydney, 2016-12-01)

#118

It is a disgrace that the Club who produces so much talent is being left out in the cold

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#121

successfull club with plenty of players my own son played and won league title at under 18

(Mountmellick, 2016-12-01)

#122

Clubs like kevins cherry orchard etc have coached kids correctly for years and current LOI clubs have a history of mismanagement and financial difficulties so I'm not sure they can be trusted with the best kids in the country

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#123

I feel the LOI are going too far. St.Kevin's are a far better run club than 90% of LOI clubs. There is nothing I can see that would convince me that any LOI club could run their club's Academy better than St.Kevin's run theirs. It is a crying shame what is happening.....throwing the baby out with the bathwater!

(Co. Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#124

I'm signing because I believe that St Kevin should be allowed the opportunity to prove they can advance thier club to this level.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#127

Kevins are the best schoolboy team in Ireland and have better facilities than most league of Ireland clubs

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#130

St kevins to me are the best run schoolboy club in Ireland and if anyone deserves to be entered in the LOI its them.

(Kilcock, 2016-12-01)

#132

St. Kevin's is the best club in Ireland. It is better run than some LOI clubs and has better facilities than most clubs in the country. For a club like Kevin's to become a nursery club would be the biggest mistake that the LOI could make.

(Evansville, 2016-12-01)

#133

If the LOI is to be a success it's a no brainer to make sure it introduces the best into the league. Skb has proved beyond all doubt they know how to nurture and help players achieve their pathway all the way to professional clubs for years . To not include them makes no sense at all due mostly because they have been producing players for decades so why lose that expertise

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#134

I'm signing because I believe St Kevins have lead the way in youth development. The facilities the club have are better than any league of Ireland club. They consistently produce great players. Look at the job these people do every year with the academy cup. Bringing Europes top academy's to Dublin.
Not only do they provide for elite players they facilitate all players at every level

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#137

Even though I play for city rivals crumlin I believe st Kevin's boys are league of Ireland worthy

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#138

Great club and tradition

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#139

This is the best producer of Irish Talent in the whole country.

(Winter Garden, 2016-12-01)

#141

i believe they should be allowed into league of ireland they gave worked hard over the years to priduce players of international quality

(dublin, 2016-11-30)

#142

I'm signing because two of my sons play for St kevins it's a very well run club

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#153

Its a true statement

(Dunboyne, 2016-12-01)

#154

Kevin's is a wonderful club and it deserves to be at the top of Irish schoolboy football.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#156

Have a personal interest in the success of the club

(Dorchester, 2016-12-01)

#162

Enough is enough

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#163

It would indeed be a shame to see such a great club be reduced to a status of being just a training club. For as far back as I can remember SKB were at the forefront of schoolboy and junior football and have helped produce some fantastic talent but they shouldn't be remembered for that. They have proved that they can compete with the best and would definitely be capable to stick it to some teams in the airtricity league. Let them in with the big clubs and stop Dundalks dominance of the league.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#166

It's for the good of Irish football simple as that
# justice for SKBFC

(Dublin, 2016-11-30)

#167

St kevins produce players regularly for loi and international teams

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#169

I play for st kevins and I really enjoy playing for them.

(Navan, 2016-12-01)

#170

St Kevin's have led the way in player development over a long period of time and have proven they can more than match the so called"professional academies",what's next? Small sided games, give them an oppourtinity and I guarantee you they will be more successful than their Loi counterparts

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#177

St Kevin's are a great team an should be given League Of Ireland status.

(London, 2016-12-01)

#178

Because this is the most ridiculous pice of pseudo bureaucracy I have ever heard of and in reality serves no purpose whatsoever

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#180

We as a family of 6 have all been involved in SKB at some stage of our lives ,so we have seen first hand the dedication of people in this club who are getting no financial reward . They are giving up their time for the love of the game and deserve not to be treated as babysitter,s for other other clubs.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#183

Best schoolboy club in Ireland. Deserves to be give a chance to develop further at LOI l
level.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#186

I'm signing because this is the best schoolboy club in the country that runs itself as well as any League of Ireland club. They have also proved through summer leagues with acedemies of top level European Clubs that they can compete. The club has also fed the national team with several key players even currently with players like Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick. This is why I believe St. Kevins should be a league of Ireland club.

(Raheny, 2016-12-02)

#188

Because St Kevins Boys are the best school boy club in the country.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#190

All my family were involved in St kevins Iver the last 50 years.

(Dublin, 2016-12-01)

#191

I think st Kevin's is a great club and deserves a bright future

(Dublin, 2016-12-02)

#196

St Kevins have proven their ability to provide quality coaching and produce quality players for the last 57 years

St Kevin's have so many former players in the League of Ireland than in the UK

It would be a Fantactic Injection of quality and a positive step / building block that the League of Ireland need right now

It will send a clear positive message to All Schoolboy Clubs that there is a lifeline and a hope for their survival

Allowing St Kevin's in to The League of Ireland.....Can and Will only have a Positive effect on the League....with increased profile gates revenues and development for all.

(Dublin, 2016-12-02)

#197

Im a finglas celtic man i feel a club like kevins witch the current team i mange should get league of ireland status

(Dublin, 2016-12-02)
