I am a mother, yes principal might not be responsible BUT incident was reported.

And this incident happened in Jun, we have no idea how many kids ave suffered.
And i believe as a principal herself, she will oversee the day to day happenings in school.
So is totally not acc3ptable that she shift all the responsibilty. She doesnt fit to be a principal to manage staff and kids if she dont even manage her humanlity!

XIU XIU (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1211

She is incompetent

Jing Da Wee (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

All the kids in kinderland deserve justice! The principal should be accountable towards everything that happened in the school.

Ummu Uthman (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

Whoever was in charge while this was going on is as guilty if not more.

Teddy Zaali (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

Stand up to abuse

Clearly this isn’t just a problem within the teachers but the principal as well as the entire management.

Yvonne Lim (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

As a mum of a preschooler, I am absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of the non-chalant attitude of the principal and abusive nature of the teacher. They have absolutely no care and love and do not deserve to be educators!

Jennifer Lek (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1235

I’m a father of 1 child. And I strongly agree the Principal should step down due to the fact she cover up the teachers involve.

德 吴 (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1240

This is such a disappointment as the principal chose not to do anything despite the evidence shown.

Amanda Tan (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1245

I am signing because my child is also in a preschool and the right things need to be done for other educators to learn and not do this to other kids.

Ayu Syafiqah (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1251

The irresponsible and unethical principal let a grave matter slide in front of her very own eyes, ruining the basic safety child protection service she herself should be offering in the centre she is managing.

Lydia Png (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1254

I’m a parent and I don’t agree this principal should be in the pre school sector

Joanne Ng (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1255

She not only should resign/sacked but should be charged in court as well for covering up, she's equally evil

Joanne Ng (Sg, 2023-08-31)

#1256

She deserved to be charged

Zaidy Nurul (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1257

The alleged cover-up of abuses and disregard for a whistleblower's concerns are deeply troubling and a blatant breach of trust. It's disheartening to learn that the principal turned a blind eye and choose to cover up. I strongly advocate for the immediate dismissal of both the abuser and the principal, sending a clear message that such behavior won't be tolerated.

Shir Lin (singapore, 2023-08-31)

Regardless from any school or teachers, we should not condone these abusive actions by teachers who are supposed to care and educate our young ones, especially in Singapore where laws are upheld, every actions should have a consequence, including the principal of the centre and the school should be equally held responsible for condoning such acts of abusive by a teacher for covering her acts, an answer must be given to the public by Kinderland school and the Principal to be dismissed effective with immediate notice. Actions must be done to uphold the faith of all Parents and justice must be served to the victims.

Vimal ThevaGuru (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1309

I am a concerned parent on how this went on after it being reported. Nth was done. Further to the comms release by the school only reaffirms that the management is deaf on hearing parents feedback and nurturing children.

Hero Pee (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1313

How edca and principal brush this issue off is ridiculous. Not just teacher have to take responsible. What about the principal and edca?

Crystal Ang (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1315

I’m signing because I support what Teacher B did to expose the Principal, which is fail as a leader. I’m signing so that no other child should ever be in such a vulnerable state and have their voices unheard.

Ros Selamat (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1316

These actions are inhumanity. It takes 2 hands to clap and principal must bear responsibilities too.

Sheryl Wong (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1321

I am utterly disappointed with Kinderland, ECDA, MOE and MSF (ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by MOE and MSF). As a fellow parent of a child attending childcare service, I, with the fellow parents here, demand to have our voices heard. We want accountability from the various ministries on why the delay in investigation and appropriate actions to be taken to remedy the distressing situation. Please stop hiding behind the scene and keep repeating the same reply "that investigation is been launched" or "the case is closed". As a fellow civil servant, I am disappointed with the key personnel in these ministries. We are not a third world country but Singapore. Please do something swift to restore the trust in the public service to ensure our children are safe. Most of us here are probably PMETs so please do not hoodwink us with operationally standard replies. Put yourselves in our shoes; what would you want the authorities to do if your children are one of the victims?

JoyHopeGrace Lee (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1323

The principal lacks of responsibility and tried to cover the wrongdoings
Such am *******

Junardy Mohd Rasiti (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1329

The Principal is as guilty. She continue to let it happen. She neglects her responsibility now so many people have to suffer. I wouldnt be able to sleep at night if i knew my child had been abused. Because of her silence, the abuse cases were allowed to happen. Because of her silence, families of the affected now suffers. Because of her silence, now people see educators in a different light. Now every parent has to be on high alert. Now every educator has to be on their toes. Because of her silence.

Dhia AR (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

Shannon Ralli (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1337

The Abusive teacher and principal should be dismissed and face sever punishment! Their licenses in EC should be revoke. Having them in this industry will cause panic and insecurity to parents and children.

The principal can go to hell

Syafiq Hidayat (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1348

I felt that the main responsibility lies with the principal as she didn't investigate more but just brush off the whole situation and even causes those kids affected in the situation phobia. To allow such person to work in her centre she should be more details in everything and no excuses as to due to her longer working time with the centre is not a good excuse to look thru such big issue. Sigh.

Jariis Tan (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1350

Im a mother to a young baby and it breaks my heart to watch this video. I feel even more disheartened knowing that no action was taken when the teacher was first reported. I believe the principal should take responsibility for allowing such incidents to happen in her center and for NOT taking any prompt action when the teacher was first reported.

Fione Chua (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1351

The principal is irresponsible and disgusting. Protect abuser and not the young kids.

April Khong-Quial (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1379

I want kinderland to be held fully accountable for what has happened. The principal should be dismissed and not be allowed to be in the early childhood education sector. For both the woodlands and cck outlet, it should be shut down.

Jodie Tang (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1385

I'm signing because there has to be some accountability of being a leader and being responsible and guiding your direct reports.
Also we all need to advocate for children under our care.

Dimple Danvani (Singapore, 2023-09-01)

#1387

#1394

Tammy Lee (Singapore, 2023-09-01)

#1395

She needs to resign

KaiLi Zhao (Singapore, 2023-09-01)

#1397

The principal is fully responsible for the conduct of all teachers. Such rude behavior from the teachers is not acceptable. Young children will learn from the teacher and thought that this kind of behavior is ok. Teaching is a noble job, one requires passion, patient, kindness to fit the job. Demanding the principal to resign also serves as a reminder to all principals to take note of the conduct of the teacher. Just wondering why CCTV is removed from the childcare.
