But justice can at least give this child the chance to heal, knowing that the world did not ignore them. If we allow this case to go unanswered, we are telling every predator that they can do this and walk free. This is not just about one child—this is about every child who might be next if we do nothing. A seven-year-old cannot fight for justice alone. A seven-year-old cannot stand in court alone.
