I care about the well being of our Educators and Learners. As communities we need to stand up and be supportive. Whatever we do now impacts the lives of future generations.

I support the open call for responsibility and the preservation of human life. Our schools are the most vulnerable places for Covid 19. Lives matter the most. The WCDOE is one of the most irresponsible departments through its decisions. The lives of children don't matter to them, programmes do.

I'm signing because every leader throughout this time has had to make decisions for the community of people they have been asked to steward. Each one has had to weigh up the unique circumstances of the people whose safety they have influence over and to make the wisest choice they can make with the information they have on hand. I don't believe anyone should be vilified for putting the safety of learners, educators and school families ahead of "the letter of the law"...

Due to the safety of learners and teachers at the time of the peak of the Corona virus, Mr Wesley Neuman was one of the activists to prevent the further spread of the virus in the lower income communities which could have resulted in serious illness or death of many teachers, parents and learners. Mr Neuman is known as an active leader who fights the plight of the previously disadvantaged at community and union level. He serves as the voice of the silent majority in the lower income community and as a community servant myself, I support him wholeheartedly in his fight for freedom, fairness and justice. Teachers', learners' and poor communities' lives matter!!!
