I remember the day they were searching for her in the wooded area along 271. I was on my way to work and once I got there, I just burst into tears when I saw my mom who worked in the same building as me, sobbing because, like me, this girl was close in age to me and was someone’s daughter, sister, friend.(Mentor, 2018-01-24)

He should NOT be given parole(Willoughby, 2018-01-24)

I do not agree to donato getting out of prison. How can one even think this wouldn’t happen again i don’t care who he is or if he is a changed man he deserves to rot. He made the poor young lady suffer and her whole family over what??? No way should a scum be released I don’t want to have to worry about my daughter. So sad what this world has come to.(Eastlake, 2018-01-25)
#7017

He took a life , Christie's life, violently and without regard for her, her dreams, her freedom, her rights or those of her family and friends. He deserves to stay in prison.(Beachwood, 2018-01-25)

He is where he belongs.(Willoughby, 2018-01-25)

Because this sick individual who took the young, innocent life of Christie, doesn’t deserve his freedom. No parent should have to bury their child. Ever! Especially knowing how violently she died and how unnecessarily she suffered. Our whole class was devastated! Most of the class didn’t come to school while she was missing and went out to search for her. How devastating for us but mostly for her family, to find out that they found her beautiful, lifeless body. He doesn’t deserve to live let alone walk free! Please don’t let him out, I beg you!(Wickliffe, 2018-01-25)

I’m signing because I know the injustice a victim of a crime feels when the person who made them a victim is released without fulfilling their full sentence. People who commit such a horrible crime that warrants a life sentence to be given, never deserve to be set free. A lifetime may never bring back the victim but at least her family can take comfort that this man is locked away and can never hurt an innocent person again. If you let him out, you take away that only form of justice and comfort that family once felt.(COLORADO Springs, 2018-01-25)

This was a nightmare for the entire community. The Montrella family deserves justice and can never receive the love and hugs from their beautiful girl taken so young. This man does not deserve freedom as he took an angel from this earth.(Willoughby, 2018-01-25)

I remember this like it was yesterday and still get the chills thinking about how this poor girl’s life was taken. Her murderer does not deserve to walk free. He didn’t make a mistake. If you take the life of someone else, you should never be able to take a breath as a "free" man. You should rot in jail until your dying day, when you can then continue to pay for your crimes in hell.(Canal Fulton, 2018-01-25)

As a father, I can't comprehend the thought of losing my daughter. Knowing this man beat, strangled and murdered this child, he shouldn't see the light of day. No father should have to go through what Mr. Montrella went through. He made his decision, regardless of "good behavior", Donato should spend the rest of his life in prison.(Frisco, 2018-01-25)
#7198
