As a former resident who had a football player at North, they should be allowed to hold their traditional Thanksgiving Day game. Other towns in the state are allowing these games and there is no reason Middletown should not be allowed to do so.Danielle Lloyd (Manahawkin, 2020-10-21)

I’m signing because I’ve been a resident of Middletown for 20 plus years and all of my kids have gone to Middletown High School North. So with that being said I’ve been going to these games for the last 16 years and now that my youngest son is actually playing Football for Middletown High School North my family watches from all over, whether it be streaming or actually attending. This year we were so excited that we were having it at North and the parents were going to be announced with their seniors. Although we did not have that opportunity it was still important to us that we would be playing our last game on our grounds opposed to away. The seniors of 2021 were really looking forward to ending their High School football careers at home around their immediate family friends and community. Soplease allow the kids to have this lasting memory and enjoyment of their lives at their home school grounds. I think they have endured enough with covid-19 for the past few months and least we could do is allow them to finish this out at home!
Sincerely, Manuel Soler
