I want our kids to be safe. She doesn't get a 2nd chance at life neither should he

(Willoughby, 2018-01-23)

Everyday someone loses a loved one to murder. It makes me sick when I hear of cold blooded killers walking the streets. I hope that those in control of the future of this killer do their part to keep him behind bars, and without the chance to kill again.

(Shaker Heights, 2018-01-23)

#5212

He needs to stay locked up.

My granddaughter is 16 years old and works a parttime job. I worry about her safety at night when she leaves her work

The Montrella family is serving an involuntary life-sentence, because of the choices this man made. This family does not deserve to suffer even more; knowing that they will never get to hold or see their daughter for the rest of their lives, while the person who took her away from them is free to do as he pleases on this Earth.

(Jeromesville, 2018-01-23)

#5219

I do not believe that Donato Lombardozzi should ever be paroled.

(North Ridgeville, 2018-01-23)

#5220

My wife knew Christie. He needs to stay in prison.

(Perry, 2018-01-23)

#5237

I believe he should stay where he is

(Chesterland, 2018-01-23)

#5248

I remember when they found Christie’s body & cant imagine how devastating that would be to have your child taken from you and murdered. This man deserves to serve a life sentence in prison for murdering an innocent, beautiful young girl. There is no reason for him to even be up for parole. He took away Christie’s life, her future, her ability to be a mother, an aunt, a wife, to have a career. He took that all away from the Montrella family and I’m sure there’s not a day that goes by that they don’t think about their daughter.

This pos..needs to stay in prison ..where is the justice to her family at...he's a kill..so how about eye for a eye....Thank You!

(Little Elm, 2018-01-23)

#5252

This poor 16 year old girl should be alive and her demonic killer should have been executed in the electric chair....

(Alliance Ohio, 2018-01-23)

I grew up in Willoughby, and this brutal and senseless murder happened just a couple of years out of high school. The actions Donato Lombardozzi took cannot be retracted; Christie Montrella's life cannot be recovered. Righteous forgiveness is of the soul, and I hope Mr Lombardozzi has or one day will have true repentence. But, what is loosed on Earth is loosed in Heaven, and the devil that is within him should remain bound, not set free to destroy the lives of another family. The duty of the state is to keep this man bound until he meets his maker; to protect the people from the harm he most certainly will bring again if allowed the opportunity to do so.

(Cleveland, 2018-01-23)

Granting parole in this matter will put the community at risk, and re-victimize the friends and family of Christie Montrella. Justice can only be served in this case by the this individual remaining incarcerated and serving out the full sentence imposed upon him.

(Chardon, 2018-01-23)

#5265

I don't believe this creep should get out ever

(berea / ohio, 2018-01-23)

#5270

I agree with Detective Albert Pugel. Mr. Lombardozzi belongs in prison for the rest of his life.

(Pittsburgh, 2018-01-23)

#5275

REMEMBER THE CASE WELL HE NEEDS TO STAY WERE HE IS AT.

(MENTOR, 2018-01-23)

#5280

Christie's murder 30 years ago shocked the entire Cleveland community. We lived in Chardon at the time and I will never forget this. As a matter of fact, I just thought of this last week!! That's how horrible the whole thing was. This bastard should never see the light of day.

(Baltimore, MD, 2018-01-23)

#5283

No one should ever have to bury their child, especially under these circumstances. Mr. Lombardozzi needs to stay right where he is, Christie's parents should have at least have that peace of mind.

(Youngstown, 2018-01-23)

#5295

This P.O.S. needs to stay incarcerated.

(Pinehurst, 2018-01-23)

#5302

That monster took Christie from her family he has no place in society he should of had to pay with his ow. Life but he struck a plea deal so therefore while he can breath air and Christie cannot he should not be given a second opportunity to hurt another innocent soul ...Please keep him locked up for life

(Madison, 2018-01-23)

#5306

My friend knew her and it means something to the parents. It may also keep someone else from being hurt.

(Pittsburg, texas, 2018-01-23)

#5311

I don't think he has the right for parol. He needs more time to think of what he did to the young girl who's life is gone now.

(Wickliffe, 2018-01-23)

#5313

I believe the man should be improsoned for the rest of his life for this terrible crime.

(Solon, 2018-01-23)

#5315

He needs to continue to sit in a cell thinking about what he has done and all of those he has hurt.

(Willowick, 2018-01-23)

#5318

I am concerned for my community.

(Willoughby Hills, 2018-01-23)

#5319

No one should have to loose a child and watch the killer walk free No matter the amount of time spent in prison! Once a killer always a killer!

(Chardon, 2018-01-23)

#5321

No family should have to go through such heartbreak. Sorry for your loss.

(South Euclid, 2018-01-23)

#5326

A person who takes another’s life does not deserve a second chance at life.

(Mentor, 2018-01-23)

#5329

Christie was a classmate of mine and this man should stay in prison.

(Perry, 2018-01-23)

#5330

I think life means life.

(Fairview Park, 2018-01-23)

#5331

To keep this scum off the streets.

(Mentor, 2018-01-23)

#5335

Grew up with the Montrella family and no one should have to go through what they did. Keep this monster behind bars.

(Concord Township, 2018-01-23)

#5336

This man should receive the maximum, not the minimum, sentence possible. He murdered Christie, he took her life, her family can never move on from that pain, he should not be granted parole and the ability to move on and live a normal life. He plead guilty to avoid the death penalty, so, as a murderer, he was already allowed to have a part in choosing his punishment. That is the only part he should be allowed to have. Yes, the law allows for appeals to made, but they do not have to be granted. His actions have given a family the maximum pain anyone, especially parents, could ever have. He should serve his maximum sentence, life in prison.

(Sagamore Hills (born & raised in Lake Co), 2018-01-23)

#5341

Keep him locked up!!!!

(North Royalton, 2018-01-23)

#5344

I want to see justice served for Christie!

(The Villages, Fl, 2018-01-23)

#5348

He took the life of an innocent young girl. He is a monster. We do not want him on our streets.

(Rocky River, OH, 2018-01-23)

#5349

I believe if you take a life you don’t deserve to live . If you do keep him there till death . Why do people think after going to prison all of a sudden they found god and are healed . He will do it again or worst rape again . Like they say leopard doesn’t change there color

(Perry, 2018-01-23)

#5352

For Christie

(Mayfield Village, 2018-01-23)

#5353

He stole a life.
He should pay with his..in jail..where he can't hurt anyone else..he is still a threat!!

(STREETSBORO, 2018-01-23)

#5355

I absolutely remember this horrific crime from 30 years ago.. Do not release this animal from prison.

(Sagamore Hills, OH, 2018-01-23)

#5362

She was a beautiful young woman. This animal not only destroyed her life but the lives of her family as well. He should die in prison.

(Madison, 2018-01-23)

#5368

This man should remain in jail forever.

(Concord Township, 2018-01-23)

#5369

I agree with Christie's family & this person should not be let go. He's done a horrible act & if he's let out of prison, he may do something equally as bad.

(Brook Park, 2018-01-23)

#5374

I feel so very strongly that this man is a danger to the community and should not be paroled. Please protect our community and keep this man in prison.

(BRUNSWICK, 2018-01-23)

#5376

Murderer should not go free.

(Painesville, 2018-01-23)

#5377

He got a life sentence and should serve every second of it. A life for a life

(Leroy Twp, 2018-01-23)

#5382

I am a friend of the family, they are such wonderful people. They didn’t deserve this nor did the victim. Prayers are with the family that this man stays where he belongs for life

(Willoughby, 2018-01-23)

#5385

For Christie, who never got a chance to come home.

(Denver, 2018-01-23)

#5389

He should stay in prison until he dies. He took a young girls life for no reason.

(Warren, 2018-01-23)
