The money was raised for the graduates and it's ONLY the graduates that should have. No one else, no donations but 100% should go to the graduating class.

I went to Lakewood,& I know how much hard work and dedication goes into fundraising for your grad. Something that you’ve worked so hard towards,& looked forward to for 13 years of your educational years,& to have your funds withheld. It’s wrong! The education system knows it’s wrong. It’s time someone decided to do what’s right for these young people. Leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth if you ask me.

I have close friends who had sons and daughters miss out on their grad. If they raised this mo eh, which they did, give it back to them in some way or another. It’s rightfully their money. I also have a daughter graduating this year and because of this situation, we had to take provisions to make sure this would not be an issue for them.

I’m signing because this is money that these kids worked hard for. And with the big let down of them not being Able to use their money to have their one in a life time grand/prom the government should be ashamed of themselves for keeping it. As adults we all have memories of our last year in high school. These kids should be refunded the money and let them use it as they feel fit in something that they can remember for the rest of their lives.

The grad classes of 2020, parents and friends raised this money and they are the one who deserve to have it! They all have had their so called grads, paid for by their parents!
