Call for President Ramaphosa to remove Ekurhuleni Mayor Masina!

Comments

#203

His comments are racist, incite violence and someone of his standing should be removed from office if he behaves in this manner.

Racism and hatred mongering are so 40 years ago. Grow up and get with the real world. People like you do not deserve to be be paid a salary that comes (for the most part) from white tax payers’ money.

Vanessa Anderson (Johannesburg, 2020-06-02)

#213

Masina is unethical

John Bacon (Kempton Park, 2020-06-02)

#216

The mayor hasn't yet grasped the economy is not about colour but about job creation and growth rate of at least 5%.
The attitude of the mayor is typical of why the SA economy is shattered.

Howard Skeens (Boksburg, 2020-06-03)

#219

The ANC have already killed the economy with their own hands and Malema is the Last Person to talk

Adriana Cianfanelli (Johannesburg, 2020-06-03)

So tired of this colour issue. We all south Africans.

Maria Constantinides (Alberton, 2020-06-03)

At this time in our history All of us need to work together to start the recovery of our nation. Anyone deliberately causing divide should be taken to court for showing seeds of destruction. His comments are counterproductive and goes against our Human Rights. He needs to answer to the Human Right Commission immediately.

Cheryl Grover (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#239

I find that Masina's comments are both offensive as well as totally irrational. He should do well to realize that the HONEST black African economy is falling alongside the white economy. If Mayor Masina will not use the opportunity to turn Ekurhuleni around for the good without using corrupt and illegal practices, then he should vacate his seat and make way for someone who will.

Lauren Vial (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#241

Executive Mayor Cllr. Mzwandile Masina for breaking his oath of office. Masina’s latest utterances on social media, where he agrees with Julius Malema’s statement calling for “The Collapse of the White Economy”, are divisive, racist and just wrong.

Tess Raubenheimer (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#242

We have had power outages on a regular basis since just before the start of lockdown. Yesterday this happened once again at approximtely 15:00 and power has not bene restored. It is now 13.25. Enough is enough of these individuals feding at the trough

pam porteus (Alberton, 2020-06-03)

I'm signing because this country deserves leaders that serve all of their community not only those of the same colour. I'm tired of these racist bigots putting their own agenda in front of the welfare of the people. If white business fails, millions of people will be without work and will end up starving whilst these selfish leaders bathe in the lap of luxury.

Paula George (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#249

in addition, I think that his racial utterances are divisive and hugely damaging to the good running of Ekurhuleni

Pierre Nye (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

Ann Lowery (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

Racism will not be tolerated. Masina is NOT above the law.

Elmarie Bester (Kempton Park, 2020-06-03)

#255

This type of attitude has no place in 2020 South Africa - he’s supposed to be a role model in his elevated position, but this is disgraceful!

K Roberts (Johannesburg, 2020-06-03)

#258

Ekurhuleni is the most corrupt and poorly run district. It contributes circ 34% of gdp and is being run into the ground by the mayor and his cohort of thieves. The mayor is a racist and does not deserve to serve I. Public office

Rob Coetzee (Johannesburg, 2020-06-03)

#259

By wishing the collapse of any part of the economy affects the whole economy which in turn affects everybody. We require leadership with common sense not a hidden agenda.

Werner Van Goethem (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#260

We have had enough of racism

Joan Smith (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#263

Masina is racist and incompetent. He does not deserve to hold a position as a leader in any position in SA.We need better leaders in this country, not someone like him who favours civil unrest at a time when the economy is in tatters and citizens have lost all faith in the ANC. We need peace in SA.

Claudette Birkett (Johannesburg, 2020-06-03)

I'm signing because we are tired of the racists comments being made by senior members of the ANC. If the economy had to collapse everybody would starve. Is this what he wants. He should not be employed by the ANC.

Pierre Vial (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#277

Reverse racism is the same as apartheid racism. No place for it in a democratic society. This is NOT what we voted for in 1994.

Sharon McGill (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

#279

His comments are out of line

A leader should have integrity.A leader does not divide he unites.

Lynette Smith (Solheim Germiston, 2020-06-03)

#281

This is rediculous, racism must en and especially towards the white people. We are a rainbow nation and we have a shared economy. If the so called white economy must fall idiot that means our economy falls. You won't be highly paid and under worked anymore if you even do any work. Remove all members who act for themselves and not all our people who build the nation. Remove them who devide and try destroy our nation. We need better people in power NOT racists

Chaney LONG (Benoni, 2020-06-03)

Georgr Corlett (Benoni, 2020-06-04)

#287

The public comments made by this individual are inflammatory, offensive, extremely disturbing and racist. He forgets or does not know who the majority of taxpayers are, who effectively pay his salary!

Robyn Cousins (Benoni, 2020-06-04)

#289

Such negative, inflammatory comments(verging on hate speech) can have no place in rebuilding this countrys economy.

Elaine Cheetham (Benoni, 2020-06-04)

#291

This guy is an idiot, first he says wont support Ramaphosa, now this, yet he never resigns! The only reason would be due to involvement in corruption. We do not need idiots like this pretending to support people

Penny Tyrrell (Benoni, 2020-06-04)

#298

They are keeping racism alive. He is unfit for the position of Mayor.

Beverley Joshua (Johannesburg, 2020-06-05)

#308

It's time to drop the communist agenda! Time to stop the racist rants.

Most importantly, it's time to remove those with no or little education from office.

The economy annot be white, it cannot be black. It is merely the South African economy and collapsing it will have a disastrous effect on every single one of our citizens.

John Constable (Nelspruit, 2020-06-08)

We are working to establish a University at the Brakpan Civic Centre.Together with magnicent sports facilities across the road.Mayor Masina does not support the initiative. He wants to build a new site from scratch between Germiston and Boksburg on a 43 hectare sight.the site in brakpan including dam is over 300 hectares belonging to the people of Ekurhuleni.A University VU T from Daveyton could open in a year.students from Duduza to Katlehong and Daveyton Etwatwa and from Actonville Wattville and all 9 towns 18 townships and 170 informal settlements could attend classes in the day and return home at night.it is easily accessible from anywhere inEkurhuleni.Especially helping those 1 in 4 black persons who live in informal settlements and cant afford to send their children to University.we are non political but aim to make the University issue the most important outcome in next years municipal election.

Ernest Edgar Waner (Brakpan, 2020-06-08)

Our so called mayor is a Racist but conveniently like the rest of the ANC forgets who pays TAXES AND RATES 🤬!!!!

Eduard Cik (Boksburg, 2020-06-09)

GATVOL of the corruption of the ruling party. The ‘mismanagement’, crime, poverty, education/illiteracy/unemployment, foreigners, crumbling infrastructure etc. The place looks like a shit-hole!!!

Heidi B (Johannesburg, 2020-06-10)
