Am Mr. Kashindi Nahigombeye Abdoul, burundian refugee staying and in cape Town south africa.

I was born on 26/06/1986 in bujumbura-Burundi, 1993 we hard a tough time when my country was in Civil War, in 2002 we got attacked at our house in Buyenzi, 1 of the most popular suburbs of bujumbura.

My sisters were raped, my 2 brothers were killed, we were watching the window of our bedroom and we did see our father got shot. He was bleeding and we thought that he is dad. We had to break the back window and ran away.

We askep to tanzania, were we stayed and had another difficult time, with some of my brother we met there and 1 of my sister, all the people were denying us, because of being mixed up with 2 differents ethic (father was huyu and our mother is tutsi) which don't unit our country.

They almost killed us and I was been hitting by machete on my back, almost got killed. That way we left Tanzania and go to Zambia.

We reported to red-cross in zambian and they use to help us with food and some religious members use to help with a place to stay.

The red-cross helped us to find the rest of our family and found out that UNHCR took them to Norway. But our mother had an agreement with UNHCR that the day she will hear any information about us, they will take us to the place where they are taking her and they signed.

But the bad thing when we spoke to her over the phone at Red-cross in that was in 2006 and she told us to go to UNHCR office for help.

We went there, they sent us to go and renew our refugee documents for staying in Zambia, but the refugee home-affairs officers in Zambia refused and told us that, you have a family in Norway and they must give 2000$ per person. We could get the money and UNHCR refused to assist us because of not having a valid document of staying there.
Luckily we heard new that, there is one of our brothers here in cape Town and that how we got in touch with him and followed him. That was 2009

In 2011 I got married to a zambian woman and start my new family. End of 2011 I got my 1st child and in 2014 I got my 2nd child. They are all boys.

I tried to approach Norwegian embassy here for me to join my mom, because I have 4 biological sister and 1 brother and my mother as well, they did interviewed me and made me to wait for 2 years, when they answered me, they said, my age can't allow me to join my mother.

That is how I decided to stay in South Africa in a very bad condition.

This country we are suffering to get a document which can allow us to work, to send kids to school to travel, to get a house even to rent and they don't provide anything.

They community of this country are killing us by saying that they don't want us here and some of us we don't know where to go.

Some people told us that we have been attacked at our house by that time of wars in Burundi, because soldiers from government side were thinking that our father use to be a spyer rebels and rebels were thinking that he use to be spyer for government, because he was a truck driver and he use to pass on the same road where rebels us to be located. No one knew the truth.

The same people are the ones running the country and we fear for our life, because Burundi never be a trusted country with a ductature government. People are always get miss in Burundi.

We have a very bad condition here in South Africa, they are killing us, rooting, attacking us and chasing us from their country. We don't know where to go or what to do.

We may ask to whom it concerns to help us out with this situation which are seeing on TV channels and social medias, they are all true and we may loose our lives anytime.

I have 2 children and a wife and have onther child his parents got lost, I don't know if they were kild or not. It have been almost 1 year, since February am the one keeping him and feeding. They left that they are going to another province to look for a document which can even allow them to stay here or to go to hospital. But now even their phone numbers don't go through. I will never leave him behind, my kids love him and he is already part of my family.

This boy doesn't even have any valid documentation,.

Hi! I'm CHARLES RICHARD KATANGA TSHIMBALANGA NDONDA, originally from CONGO-DRC, precisely KINSHASA, capital city.

And I have been living in the Republic Of SOUTH AFRICA(R.S.A.), since 2001, until present. I am 44 years old of age, born on the 10th of November 1975.

I am married to my lovely wife AISHA YAMBA OUGOULA, born on the 30th of APRIL 1981. And we have 2 children namely:

1)CHARLES JADEN TSHIMBALANGA KATANGA NDONDA. Born on the 08th of August 2008, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
2)LUCRECIA JACQUELINE LUSAMBA KATANGA TSHIMBALANGA NDONDA. Born on the 10th of February 2010, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

And we are all living together as a family. But, we fear for our lives here in THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA, with regards to these bad XENOPHOBIC ATTACKS which is mainly targeting us foreigners from various EASTERN and WESTERN AFRICAN CONTINENT or COUNTRIES, so as to say respectively.

And we urge you to please help us, assist us to leave this country as soon as possible.

Yes I am a refugee from burundi have been in south Africa for 21 years with my siblings and parents and my wife, I'm a victim of xenophobia which is happening here in South Africa. in 2009 they brunt down my father's shop, and me right now I am afraid to go work knowing that I will be attack in public transport or the streets because I am a refugee there have been attacks on foreigner in numerous occasions we traumatize and panicking as I'm writing this letter.
