I cannot see why the camping community must remain closed. We need our regular camp. Being one with nature and just relaxing during this stressed time. Lots of people are employed on the industry and need income to look after their families. This lockdown is crippling through whole country and the economy.
The death rate of the virus is 2% vs recovery rate of 50+%.

Caravan parks plus their ablution facilities are cleaner than the facilities in a shopping mall etc. Plus we stay in our own caravan in our own space in the open air in the sunshine, the virus cannot survive in sunlight either. So why can we not go camping in our caravan?? Yet we can go to a casino????

Too many jobs have already been lost, camping sites need workers to maintain the sites. Rates and taxes still have to be paid by the owners who have no income, so even the camp sites are threatened. Surely with controlled numbers, these sites can have opened? Please save jobs, camp sites and open up the sites so regular campers can once again enjoy the outdoors.Glenda Bennett (Salt Rock, 2020-06-28)

Camping needs to open in Kruger National Park. We isolated in caravans and dont need shops or restaurants and if necessary can bring along a portable shower. We have portable toilets so do not need ablution facilities. With all this in place we are far safer than people staying in huts that need to get serviced regularly.Peter Craig-Cooper (Marloth PArk, 2020-06-28)
