Remove lucifer from TV or we will cancel our subscriptions
At the end of January 2016, Mnet decided to show the new American drama series lucifer on SA TV. Many people complaint about this so Mnet decided to move this show to Friday's at 23:00 and made it look like they are doing us a huge favour, saying: "Following viewer complaints, M-Net is moving the new drama Lucifer four hours later, upping the age restriction to 16 and banishing it to TV's version of hell: late night on Fridays when nobody watches television." (News24 on 3 Feb 2016)
This is pure nonsense to say that nobody is watching TV at 23:00 on a Friday. It is also nonsense that Mnet think they are doing us a favour moving it to 23:00. No Mnet, we dont want it moved to a new slot, we want it REMOVED from TV. The latest SA Stats shows than more than 70% of South Africa is Christian and we want you to listen to our call to completely remove this series from our TV or we will cancel our subscriptions to Mnet and DSTV.
In the new drama series Satan, played by Tom Ellis, is depicted as a sympathetic character who escaped hell and decides to help people after a girl he likes is killed after she "sold her soul to the devil". Fellow Christian, let us unite against this, let us do the right thing, let us choose Jesus over lucifer.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph 6:12
