Petition for transparent salaries valorization in Marlink, s.r.o.

We, the undersigned Employees of Marlink, s.r.o., hereby appeal to the management and owners of Marlink to consult with us on salary adjustments, the so-called valorization of 2023 salaries. This process should take place with the participation of Employee representatives whom we will determine ourselves.

Justification:
In 2022, inflation in Slovakia was 12.8% (source: Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic). However, the median salary valorization for 2022 (awarded in 2023) provided by the Company was only 4%.* Due to this difference between inflation and valorization, our purchasing power has decreased very significantly.
Considering the last year situation with salaries valorization and the current delay in signing the Collective Agreement, which would ensure transparency and participation in setting the value of the valorization, we fear a similar fate this year as well.
That's why we ask for the same conditions for the Slovak branch like our colleagues in other parts of Europe, where Employee representatives participate in negotiations on valorization every spring.**
