Let’s get a governing body for support dogs in Canada

Support dogs in Canada are an important tool for the people they are supporting who have a disability, yet there is no governing body for this that is in control of vetting these dogs to make sure they have been trained adequately. This would help everyone as this would stop people from being able to falsely claim their dog as a support dog. It would also allow for everyone to feel safer because the support dog would have to pass a test through the governing body, along with a better certification process that would go along with the tests, would be so helpful for both the people using a support dog as well as the larger community.
