This is just another form of segregation, and discrimination founded by pure ignorance. No one here knows or understand what transgender means or the barriers these people have to face everyday.  They are not any less godly nor do they value the family unit any less. They are not pedophiles. They are people - children.  All see is more close minded individuals with small town mentality. This is no different when "colored" people weren't able to attend school with whites or when interracial marriage was illegal. Your children are not at risk of being with a child that identifies as the same gender. Get your head out of your asses Wausau and get educated.

 I agree for the most part, but I can't see why we can't offer family restrooms with shower features to accommodate the boys and girls who are transgender, make no big deal of it, and move on.

 I am a very educated person (26 years to be exact). I do know transgender people. I do not hate transgender people. This population is such a minority. Why affect the many to benefit the few? It is another "leftist" emotion-based agenda that does not benefit the majority of the population. Not wanting this is not because of fear and has nothing to do with pedophiles. It has to do with a person who although may identity as a different sex that they were born as, still have parts that they were born with. I don't want my young children to have that option of exposure and not be able to have a say in it.
