Reduce the over speeding by vehicles along Station Road in Stanbridge

I live on Station Road and we continue to witness extremely fast driving and this is by no means caused by lockdown. This problem has been apparent for many years. There is an immediate increased danger to all of the village pedestrians which use the pathways for exercise due to Covid measures. The pathway along Station Road is extremely narrow and it is only a matter of time before somebody is seriously injured or killed. I would suggest that we install half barriers at the top and the lower end of the 30 mile an hour speed limit to force vehicles to slow or stop before entering the restricted area.
