Because I don't think a city council should be able to stop a business that they agreed on. This place created jobs. And it would cost more to go to ogden to get tattoo work done. And that means lost income for other businesses. People come from all over to get work done so now we will spend out money in other cities. I think that the city council needs to talk to people in the community instead of making a decision on their own. Of none of the council members don't have tattoos then the vote is biased. They can't be allowed to force their beliefs on other people.

There are worse things in this world then body art... put the time and funds that are being spent to fight a self owned buisness into the girls and boys club if there are so mamy worried about this..... :)

If people want to get a tattoo that should be their own personal choice this is America !!

As a free American, having several body art tattoos, I feel we should be able to express our individuality any way we choose. It's our constitutional right.

Beacuse people should be aloud to customize and accessorize their body to their own image

Tattoos are a work of art many people get them including myself. I have seen many breast cancer patients get them to cover their scars from surgery and many also get them as reminders of where they were in the past and where they want to be in the future ( Depression, Suicide). Also people will get them in remembrance of loved ones. I think that Tremonton city should reconsider having this in there town and stop worrying so much about their image.

I signed this petition because I truly believe in what the shop is doing. It's a right to be allowed to have the body art that you choose. Please reconsider your isssue with My Style Tattoo and Cosmetic Spa in Tremonton.

I agree that anyone should be allowed to express themselves & their freedom through body art. Those who live in Brigham or Tremonton etc. can have the convienence of going to My Style or people who have previously gone to Cassi Snell or planning on going to her, feel comfortable with her & her work. She has not done something that would give this reason of denying her, her right to persue her passion of helping people to express themselves through what they see as something Beautiful.
I feel as though, those of us that dont see having a tattoo parlor in Tremonton as a problem.. Our feelings are not as important as those that are against getting/having tattoos, they are not illegal, but we are made to feel we are doing something wrong because certain people dont approve of them. My suggestion to them is to pass on by if they dont want to see a tattoo shop, they dont have to go inside. If there is a majority of people against it based off religion.. How is that fair to those of us, who have just as many rights.

Exactly what I said lol they are catering to the ones that dont approve based on their religious beliefs & they say majority rules because they dont want it, its gonna have to go so it doesnt offend their religion

My name is Anthony Lavulo. I've been tattooing since 2009 and half my body is covered in tattoos that express my Polynesian culture. There are very few people I trust to tattoo my body and Cassi is one of them. I taught her a few things when she came to our shop and the determination and drive she had is rare in a lot of artists. Most people will quit because of the pressure but she was driven by her husband and daughter! Not many people can do what she is doing and she accomplished a lot because of her passion and love for art! Don't take that away from her! Her dreams support her family and I trust her with my life. She's been a very good friend to me and I couldn't ask for a better friend!

First off....if have no experience in tattooing and piercing, then you have no room to judge, everybody has to start somewhere. And tattooing minors is something that's being dealt with at a certain level. If she tattooed a minor, then the parents gave consent so don't blame Cassi! I've tattooed minors with the parents consent but I've also denied minors because of certain tattoos they want and placement. So I suggest you keep your negative comments to yourself cuz you don't know one thing about the tattoo industry!

What the city and county are attempting to do is unconstitutional. This is a very subversive attempt to force their religious beliefs on others. Absolutely ridiculous.

The Double Jeopardy Clause in the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution prohibits anyone from being prosecuted twice for substatially the same crime. Sounds like that's exactly what the religious zealots have done.

As long as freedom of speech for some stupid reason is an issue here... I think the ugly building should be torn down. How many businesses tried to survive there? It's a freaking crap hole. And not everyone deserves a second chance.. Especially not someone who sucks at giving tattoos.. My sisters looks like crap and she is pissed.

There is a need for this in our community whether people want to believe that or not. Why not keep things local and build up our economy here instead of traveling out of our town?!

I personally know the parents, no they did not agree to this tattoo. They even tried to question Cassi and she wouldn't answer questions and she immediately knew she'd been caught. She did it thinking their kid wouldn't show the tattoo until after 18. She's done minors before, I personally know another person who lived in Brigham and Cassi was the one to go to for an underage tattoo. She never even took paperwork from the minor, it's illegal. So no, not one mistake. Also another friend of mine got a tat by her, in her shop, and now has horrible scar tissue raised up under it. Cassi has no idea what she's doing, she needs to never touch a gun again.

My Style is a cute salon that beautifies the Tremonton downtown.
