I do not live in NDG but I do go there for appointments and my volunteer work! I am a senior who has had hip replacement surgery and I am waiting for both knees to be operated on. To look at me you would think oh she is a strong healthy specimen but I must sit as I can not balance myself and turning corners is a challenge even when sitting & I can not hold on as my shoulders are starting with the arthritis so keeping my arms up is difficult!!!

So crammed buses for ANYONE OF ANY AGE CAN BE A SERIOUS PROBLEM.Young person who may have a injury, young Mothers & someone just out of hospitla but must get to work.

As we age more & more of us will have these issues. I have to resort to buses as I can not do metros as I have extreme vertigo and balance issues. The alternative is to become a shut in and not contribute at all and probably end up in worse health & costly more in the long run.

Keep us healthy & involved, keep the environment cleaner and give us the service we need & pay for. CFosts keep going up and we all pay high taxes here in Quebec!

Also with the new MUHC opening the STM better get prepared!

I take the bus fairly regularly and find it difficult when it is crowded and I have to stand. I am almost 80 years old and not in the best of health. I would like the needs of the elderly to be considered. I might add that my grandchildren - who take the bus from Westmount to come visit me detest the 105 and would rather walk from Vendome than get on an overcrowded bus.
Thank you to everyone involved for bringing this crisis to the attention of the city and the STM.

I'm sorry I won't be able to attend it today due to a prior engagement. However, I would like to say that I support the cause. I myself suffer with the overcrowding of the 105 bus, and most mornings if not all, I have to see 4-5 buses pass by without stopping because the cannot fit anybody else inside, before I can get on one of the 105. And when I get on the 105 it is mostly through the back door because the front is literally jam packed (like sardines in a can) and somebody got off through the back door.
Thank you Mr. McQueen for all your efforts to help us, users of public transportation.

I would also like to see an increase in the number of westbound 105 buses in the mornings. I get very annoyed when even the buses announced in the schedule do not run. For example, even though there is no 'gap' in service announced in the schedule and buses should run every 7 minutes or less, there are very often no buses between 8am and 8:20am! That means that to plan for a 5 minute bus ride, you actually have to account for more than a half-hour. That's not service!
