Ensure constant and stable power supply to the Northmead Water Tower
We, the residents of Ward 27, namely Airfield, Ebotse, Morehill, Northmead and Rynfield, and surrounding wards hereby petition the Member of the Mayoral Committee for Infrastructure, Cllr Masele Madihlaba; and City Manager, Dr Imogen Mashazi to urgently purchase and install a generator for the Water Tower situated in Hospital Street, Northmead, Benoni. Every time there is a loss of power due to maintenance, theft, faults or load shedding; the water tower cannot pump water leaving residents in the area without water.
