CCTV in Taxis Ireland

This petition is to change the Irish legislation so that CCTV would be made compulsory in Taxis. 

This would be done to ensure both driver and passenger(s) safety at all times.

This petition would help stop abuse and theft on board and protect both passengers and drivers.

Details:
The CCTV on board would capture any act of violence or theft. Abuse would not go unnoticed and abusers would get identified.
Therefore the presence of CCTV on board taxis would help prevent abuse.

This petition is part of Young Social Innovators (YSI) project ATTAXI C.A.B. (Cancel Abuse on Board).
The secondary school students of class W1, Transition Year, Mount Mercy College Cork wish to raise the issue of abuse on board taxis. We want to stop this and feel this is the most efficient way.
