Ask the CDSBEO to host a town meeting regarding the recent school threats

The recent wave of threats towards schools within the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario (CDSBEO) has sparked a need for urgent action. Our children's security and access to education are paramount, and parents must have a platform to voice their concerns. Over the past few weeks, there have been multiple threats to different schools within our district, disrupting our children's learning process and causing fear and anxiety among students, parents, and staff alike.

We believe that the OPP as well as the St Michael Catholic High School staff have done an outstanding job during this time and we thank them for their service. We also understand that they cannot release any information about an active investigation.

While we appreciate the efforts made by the authorities to investigate these threats, we believe more can be done by the school board to improve our children's safety during this ongoing investigation. For this reason, we are demanding CDSBEO to host a town meeting where parents can freely discuss their concerns and push for enhanced security measures and viable options to ensure uninterrupted learning for our kids. Join us in this cause. It's about securing our kids' present and future. We request all concerned parents of CDSBEO students to sign this petition and stand up for our children's rights to a safe and uninterrupted education.
