A Call for Action to Advance The Naturopathic Profession

Dear Fellow Naturopathic Physicians, There is an urgent need for us to form a united front and take action to preserve and advance the Naturopathic profession. Over the years, more and more ND graduates have left our profession due to financial struggles with unsteady patient volumes. Currently NDs are not eligible for medical insurance reimbursement in all fifty states because medical insurance companies do not recognize the ND credential in the same category as the MD/DO credential. This prejudiced perception needs to be changed. We are creating a petition to be sent to the House and Senate of Arizona to demand for equal rights for medical insurance coverage. Whether or not you consider taking medical insurance in your practice, we ask for your full support by signing this petition. Your signature on the petition will not compromise your practice in any way. You still have the options of accepting or opting out of taking insurance in your practice. The significant impact of your signature on the petition will help advance our profession because we will be recognized on a national level.  Our goal is to make the naturopathic profession stronger and more affordable for the public to access. To ensure a steady patient volume for your practice and elevate your career, please join us in the quest to obtain medical insurance reimbursement for Naturopathic Physicians. Changes must be made for our profession to not only survive but also to thrive!
