The Barn Nursery BOTW Reinstate the registration of Alison Cort

Dear All,

Thank you for the support that everyone has shown in trying to save  the Barn. By now all must be aware that red tapism has won and without an end in sight and Alison has informed all, that the Barn Nursery will not be reopening.

With the closure of the Barn Nursery, the village and its surrounds finds itself with very limited pre school and child care places. Whilst Bourton Pre-School and OSC based at Bourton on the Water Primary School provides places for ages 3 – 5, a breakfast club, after school care club and holiday provision, its numbers are limited and it would be impossible to expand its capacity.  Some of the parents have formed the Cotswold Community Childcare Action Group . They  met last week to consider options for further developing provision in the village, especially for children 6 months to 4/5 years and at holiday times. A number of options were discussed at the meeting to ensure a greater capacity is developed and a consensus reached. The group could do with your support and I urge you to contact them either via the Bourton Primary school or on Facebook or via the email(ccc.actiongroup@gmail.com to show your approval with their aim to develop more places."

Your support at this stage is critical for the provision of continuing childcare facilities in the Cotswold.
