CITY OF EKURHULENI MUST ACCOUNT FOR SERVICE DELIVERY COLLAPSE. KEEP SHARING THE PETITION.

Our petition to demand service delivery from the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) is gaining traction. Thank you for your support!

This petition, together with a detailed letter, will be served on Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor Mzwandile Masina and Gauteng Premier David Makhura. It will also be lodged with the Parliament of South Africa.

Please keep spreading the petition far and wide. It started in Bedfordview, and we are delighted that it is now going viral, with residents across Ekurhuleni adding their signatures and comments about the disgraceful state of their towns and suburbs. Please help us to keep the momentum going. The more signatures we get, the more impact our action will have. We are up to 1 373 signatures. 

We urge all Ekurhuleni residents to sign this petition, and add their voices to the outcry about poor service delivery and justified perceptions of rampant maladministration, corruption and incapacity in Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality. Now is the time for active citizens to unite. Now is the time to put apathy behind us. Now is the time to protest with a view to withholding the rates and taxes that go into Ekurhuleni coffers. Now is the time to demand that we receive the services that Ekurhuleni is constitutionally required to deliver.
