Update - Madison County Commissioner Meeting - Update

WE HAVE GREAT NEWS TO REPORT!

We wanted to let this group know that the meeting with the County Commissioners was a great success.

The points of the resolution were carefully covered and the necessity to protect our Constitutional Rights, and the Bill of Rights that we are all so concerned about.

It was also discussed the support of our local Sheriff and Sheriffs office and that we ARE the "well regulated militia" that are willing to stand behind him/them as they stand for our rights.

Also, the idea that we are defining our community with this Resolution and it was suggested that after this was made a Resolution we should consider petitioning for this to become an ordinance.
It was our understanding that in the meeting all the County Commissioners agreed with this idea are considering having the County Attorney, Troy Evans, to begin review and drafting of a Resolution that can be put into place by the Commissioner to define by Resolution, Madison County Idaho as a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County.

Please keep this petition going, as there will be further meeting and we need the continued support. We will keep this group posted as to the updates and details as we understand the outcome of the requests we have made.

Thanks to all that have supported this to-date, and we again ask for your continued support as we move to have this Resolution enacted by the County. Please feel free and wen encourage you to reach out to any of the County Commissioners to verbally support this action as they move forward considering this very important Resolution.
