Tired of the constant back stabbing and fighting, the members want the West's Tigers to continue and not this silly nonsense of trying to split the sides apart

Greg Evans (Riverstone, 2025-01-01)

I am a Tigers fan and Im sick to death of this constant undermining of the WestsTigers. Cannot imagine the negative effect it must have on the players as well as the fans.

Ben Leonard (Carina, 2025-01-01)

I’m sick of the rubbish in the media dragging the club down and making it hard to be a supporter and member. If the Wests Tigers cease to exist so does my support and membership.

Daniel Smith (Tallebudgera, 2025-01-01)

Alfio Pulvirenti (Sydney, 2025-01-01)

#1042

Stop the infighting and unite. We finally have a decent team on the paddock, now we need to fix the team in the office. They have clearly forgotten what the word "TEAM" means. It's time for change. Wests Tigers supporters deserve better.

Andrew Rawiri (Brisbane, 2025-01-01)

#1045

Enough is enough get the club back to where it was we are a laughing stock

Anthony Puglia (Sydney, 2025-01-01)

#1053

We need honest, transparent, capable governance at HBG and WT.

Robert Schuck (Bonner, 2025-01-01)

#1056

I’m signing this petition because I have no faith in clubs leadership group being the boards of the respective clubs being governed by the Holman Barnes Group

Scott McKenzie (Comboyne, 2025-01-01)

#1057

I have grave fears that if this continues we will see the end of the West Tigers as a club. With such a positive feel around the playing group this year, this distraction is unnecessary and can be detrimental to the teams progress on field in the 2025 season. Further adding weight to the argument that the Wests Tigers brand is unsuccessful in the NRL and that the return of the Wests Magpies will be the only viable option; which leads me to believe this is part of the plan all along.
Wests Tigers only going forward, One Jungle!

James Watson (Blaxland, 2025-01-01)

#1062

A professional rugby league team requires professional governance. Unfortunately our team does not appear to have had a professional board for many years.

Damien Travis (Glenmore Park, 2025-01-01)

#1067

I’m signing this petition because selecting board members is not transparent - a cohort of 18 does not represent the members

Cathie Lambert (Dean Park, 2025-01-01)

#1079

The Wests Tigers needs to be given a fair go by allowing them proper management of their team.

Kylie Styles (Gladesville, 2025-01-01)

#1084

It’s time the power brokers at this club realised that Wests Tigers fans only care about seeing the Wests Tigers succeed. It’s no longer about Western Suburbs Magpies or Balmain Tigers anymore, they’re our past and not our future.

This infighting to help either the Magpies or Tigers get the upper hand or eradicate the other is pointless and not in the best interests of the vast majority of fans who now just see the Wests Tigers as their club.

We have the best chance in a long time to become a good club and the ongoing personal agendas for our two legacy clubs need to be stopped and only thought about in the interests of the Wests Tigers.

Pete Hudson (Sydney, 2025-01-01)

#1085

The division has gone on long enough! End the Tigers and Magpies talk and instate West Tigers name through ALL playing age divisions, especially major age comps

Paul McDonald (Aspley, 2025-01-01)

#1088

We need to remove these self interest directors have both tBalmain and the Holmes and Barnes group. How can this club move forward and attach good people to this Organise with the constant bad press that this club receive.

Stephen Weinstein (CARINGBAH, 2025-01-02)

#1093

I’m signing this because I’ve had enough at the media Circus and the embarrassment that has become the West Tigers.
I was a magpie supporter And have embraced the West Tigers over the past 25 years. I’currently have 3 premium memberships of which I’m close to asking the club to cancel and refund. This nonsense and infighting needs to end now they need to unite in the best interests of the West Tigers.

Peter Lahood (Cranebrook, 2025-01-02)

#1097

The Wests Tigers appear to be on the brink of collapse and significant change is required.

Dean Powell (Windsor, 2025-01-02)

#1100

Because we need stability from top down

Ray Araya (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1107

I love westigers and sick of all bad media reporting

Ken Beckett (Ipswich, 2025-01-02)

#1108

I'm signing and asking friends to sign because I am sick of ego's being put before a club which means so much to so many. I was shocked to hear that debenture's of such a low amount provide the power to run a club of this magnitude, let alone a professional sports team.

Jack Kovacic (LEICHHARDT, 2025-01-02)

#1109

It’s a disgrace how things have been run for years.

Jack McMillan (Rozelle, 2025-01-02)

#1111

I have no trust in the governance of the Holman Barnes Group to effectively run the Wests Tigers.

Timothy Smith (Alexandria, 2025-01-02)

#1114

I care about the Tigers

Gary Hart (Wollongong, 2025-01-02)

#1116

Because I believe in the wests tigers brand and am totally against a split in the merger.

Wayne Elliott (Kempsey, 2025-01-02)

#1118

I want the Wests Tigers to adopt the review and allow us fans to move forward with the club we love.

Phil Jones (Schofields, 2025-01-02)

#1122

I'm signing because I've been a member for over 10 years (as are my entire family). We have been fans for a lot longer and FINALLY we are starting to see some much needed change to the club after years of mismanagement and self interest! To see it come undone at a Board level is disgusting. I had faith that the review would bring further change addressing some internal issues and bad governance and yet again we find ourselves to be the laughing stock of the competition. It's so disheartening how the brand is being trashed in the media, making it very hard to be a proud member when all this infighting is going on.

Kylie Schleicher (Castle Hill, 2025-01-02)

#1128

I’m so sick of the tigers always being in the media for the wrong reasons and it always seems to come from back ground squabbles . Whenever something positive is reported you can count on the board to do something to undermine our momentum with a leaked story of negativity. Why can’t we just support Benji and move forward with momentum and positive feelings to get the year off to a good start . To late the boards done it again 🤦‍♂️, let’s start the season on the back foot again . The club is bigger than any board individual . Don’t play with fire some one always gets burnt and you watch the first media with benji will be about the fractures in the club and not about the team . So bad all this unnecessary squabble taking the emphasis of our squad leading into a new campaign. Frustrated Tiger

Andrew Larkins (Gold coast, 2025-01-02)

#1132

This is not a democratic decision

Paul Upfield (BURLEIGH HEADS, 2025-01-02)

#1139

The current governance structure of HBG is completely archaic and inappropriate. Importantly, it is having an adverse impact on the operations of Wests Tigers.

Nicholas Di Girolamo (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1146

I’m sick and tired of all the squabbling that goes on at board level. I’ve been a supporter of Balmain since 1969 and now a member for 15 years of the West Tigers. They are my team thru good times and bad. As supporters who pay money to support our team we deserve better.

Peter Adams (Maitland, 2025-01-02)

#1148

I am signing because this is so wrong on do many levels.

Sam Hill (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1149

My hope is that one day members can genuinely contribute to the running of the club and not just used as cash cows. This is not real membership

Simon Enticknap (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1150

For as long as the Debenture Holders exist,Club Members are not represented as they should be. This impediment stops people who are both Wests Members and WT Members from being able to voice their concerns via the Ballot Box.

David Lang (BEAUMONT HILLS, 2025-01-02)

#1156

The Club constitution, needs to be ripped up, and rewritten. No more club debenture membership crap. One membership, all equal rights. Keep Barry O as president, all other current or former directors should be excluded from the board. We require a fresh, new, qualified, cohesive board, all rowing in the same direction. This is a publicly owned football club, which is ultimately owned by the members. All members should have equal democratic rights, to decide who is on the board, and for the board to run the Club in the best interests of the ultimate stakeholders, the members. 3 spoons in a row. Failure is no longer an option.

Greg Stevens (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1160

Enough is enough, the boardroom debacle needs to come to an end

Andrew Boss (Kensington, 2025-01-02)

#1162

These people are excellent at taking money from those who probably can't afford to have money taken from them via poker machines but they know nothing about running a football club.

Three of the board members wanted to implement independent review results that would change the makeup of the board and those at the top of the tree decided to suspend them for up to eight years. One can only assume to make sure they keep their controlling positions rather than do what's best for the WestsTigers. Say no more.

Simon Tunnington (The Entrance, 2025-01-02)

#1164

Tigers are not competitive and need urgent change. I don’t follow them but they are a very important club in the nrl

Paul Boss (Batemans Bay, 2025-01-02)

#1166

The board is out of touch with reality

Adam Kustron (West Wollongong, 2025-01-02)

#1168

The structure of the HBG at board level is not conducive to success at NRL board level. History proves this. The recent neglect of duty to act on recommendations by the review show that the current board is not acting in the best interests of their members, the fans of Wests Tigers and the NRL. Change is needed or the failure of Wests Tigers will surely continue.
Members need a stronger voice and Debenture holders have too much power!

Ian Miller (Mollymook Beach, 2025-01-02)

#1171

The Wests Tigers should have fair representation within its board for the long-term success and future of the club.

Vincent O (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1175

The board is rubbish

Brent Stern (Perth, 2025-01-02)

#1176

I bleed orange, black and white.. & it’s time for change.

Looking forward to the stability it will bring.

Sam Wayde (Sydney, 2025-01-02)

#1185

I’m signing this because I don’t have confidence in the Holman group

Anthony Ziade (Ashfield, 2025-01-02)

#1188

Sick of disunity in the club. It’s bloody tiring as a fan!

Jerome Ahern (Coorparoo, 2025-01-02)

#1189

I’m signing because I want the Wests Tigers to finally be an organisation given a chance to have proper governance! The club, Richo & Benji deserve the best chance for success!

Jack Howard (Townsville, 2025-01-02)

#1193

Had enough of the bullshit from above.
Pretty hard to have a committed team on the field while the boardroom boys are being children.

Russ Donlen (Brisbane, 2025-01-02)

#1195

As a lifelong supporter of the Wests Tigers and Member of Wests Ashfield, there is far too much news provided by the owners of the Holman Barnes group and its ownership of the football club, and this can only be due to incompetence and poor corporate governance.

The ownership structure with the outdated Debenture Holder system lends itself to manipulation by a small group, who may well have no interest, nor expertise, in the successful running of a football club. This needs to change to ensure the best interests and success of the Wests Ashfield Leagues Club, as well and the Wests Tigers Football Club.

The end result can be visible in the poor results on and off the field with the Wests Tigers since its inception, the football club can and should be a far more successful club, and deserves a Board and ownership structure which can deliver success. Some work has been done in the past year with the Wests Tigers Football Club stepping down and the recommendations of the Independent Review being implemented, but as has been seen with recent action but several HB Board members, more needs to happen to ensure the successful running of the Leagues Club and therefore the Football Club.

This is an opportune time for the Holman Barnes Group to ensure real change for the Wests Tigers and set it up for long term success. Do not put internal squabbles in front of success as a Club and Team. Do the right thing for the Club and Team, and setup a structure for success, and step aside and appoint qualified members for the running of the Wests Tigers.

As a former Wests Magpies supporter, I do not support any action to separate the JV, but wish to see it successful as the Wests Tigers, as my children and a whole generation of people now only know the Wests Tigers.
