I’m signing because this man is clearly too ignorant to teach

I'm signing because people with these views have NO place in our education system, and in support and solidarity with those who are forced to suffer as a result of this ignorance and bigotry.

I'm an academic in mathematics, and I feel a responsibility to pursue and condemn such hate and wildly inaccurate views in academic spheres. I don't know if firing him is the right move, in terms of protecting other people with controversial views in the "right" direction as opposed to the wrong one, but I do think he displays extreme unworthiness of his position and status, and at least want that to be logged.

I am signing because I work very hard to debase the scientific racism first bought into existence to justify the genocide and enslavement of African peoples. This darwinist rhetoric fails to acknowledge that the mere foundations of civilisation lie in Africa and with African peoples. This form of thinking ignores the fact that scholars like Pythagoras learned all he knew from Ancient Kemet Egypt, when Egypt was BLACK and African and the many unacknowledged African scholars that continue to be misrepresented. This scientific racism blots out the substantial contributions of African and African diaspora people and ignores the fact that we wouldnt have things like the light bulb, blood transfusions, refrigerators and gear boxes in our cars amongst a myriad of other scientific, mathematical, medicinal inventions, had it not been for the contributions of African peoples. The first university was found in Timbuktu, not in Europe! the fact we civilised and taught the very same people that came to pillage and destroy and then gaslight out existence is a travesty that it is high time was ended. This is why African history and not just the unfortunate circumstance of slavery, must be taught IN SCHOOLS properly. Because once the TRUTH is told, these ignorant racists will be able to permanently close their mouths. People without knowledge of the truth about our culture and contributions should never be given a platform to spread misinformation and hatred to the masses. Furthermore, a meritocracy would diminish those promoted to positions because of their proximity to whiteness, it would not eliminate black people who are almost always working twice as hard and are over qualified for the positions their mediocre counterparts get, with little to no struggle at all. This so called fellow, needs to go. IMMEDIATELY!

Race realism, a misleading and scientifically discredited theory, attempts to attribute intellectual and social disparities solely to racial origins, ignoring the vast, intricate web of socio-economic, cultural, and environmental factors that shape human capabilities and achievements. This theory not only perpetuates racist stereotypes but also blatantly disregards the rich tapestry of contributions made by Black professionals across every field of human endeavor. Intelligence and educational achievements are not confined by race; they are fostered by opportunities, support, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. The success stories of countless Black professionals in medicine, science, technology, the arts, and beyond, serve as powerful testament to the fact that ability and intellect know no racial boundaries. Our focus must be on dismantling barriers and fostering an inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their racial or ethnic background.

People's valid existence should never be a topic of debate.

The faculty member is racist, doesn’t deserve funding, and should be removed immediately.
