#807

Principal has to go

Wency Chan (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#810

As a parent it’s heartbreaking to see such videos. This action is definitely intolerable. How could a teacher treat kids like that, and bystanders took no action. Action needs to be taken to show the seriousness of it.

Yaping Huang (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#811

As a principal of the childcare, she must be responsible for all actions and safety of the kids. Instead, she tried to cover the truth until now. Where is her explanation?

Hansel Hu (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#815

We need to uphold the expectations of high integrity in the teaching line to protect young ones. Every single child is precious! If the perpetrators are lightly penalised it will encouraged other cruel minded educators to either start or carry on their bad deeds!

Chin Chin Leong (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#818

I am signing as I am horrified by the harsh way of handling toddlers at a kindergarten or childcare centre where it is supposed to offer love, care and safety to children

Hui Lin Tay (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

Abby Caballes (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

Megan Zhu (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#855

A leader must lead by example and brave to remove what is wrong. He/she should have zero tolerance to child abused. Screening of teachers before employment should be made. its not about having a nanny sitting there but someone who has love, patience and passion of young children.
The leader of the centre should be that eagle when his/her wings are opened widely, the children can run under her wings knowing that it the second safest place beside home.

Clare Peng (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#856

The teacher and principal should be terminated and not allowed to work in preschool settings for mistreatment of the kids. Just like how nurses or doctors licensing will be ban from practice if they do such mistreatment.

Rabiah Adauwiyah (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#857

im signing because its utterly disappointing and disgusted to know that a principal that is not honest and also not rightous and no responsibility can be a principal in a school, covering a teacher that abuse the small children. she deserves to get out of that school, she should resign, because how many more children might get traumatized again? she does not have empathy and humanity and love, why should she stay on? she and the teacher would be one of the reason why parents have trust issues with childcare systems, i believe.

Neo Hana (east region, 2023-08-29)

#858

I don't accept this kind of behaviour from the teacher. They are suppose to be a safe place for these innocent kids. And the principal you definitely have to go. You are such a shame.

Nadiaa Randy (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

Iftirah Azali (Sembawang, 2023-08-29)

#872

This is really unacceptable. Parents paid so much and put their loved child in pre school with trust . This is so traumatised and will leave a very bad memories for kids . No wonder so many kids don’t want their to go school . They bullied them just because they don’t know how to speak or start talking yet . And the principal and teacher around just do nothing ?! Seriously ?

Isabelle Tan (London, 2023-08-29)

#873

Zero tolerance to child abuse.

Sherry Tay (Bedok, 2023-08-29)

#875

The principal and the entire school staff involved in this entire incident should resign and not be anywhere near young children. It's completely inhumane and heartbreaking to watch these videos. Please make sure the principal is being investigated and jailed for her negligence and direct/indirect involvement in hiring such abusive staff, as well as allowing such abusive acts to continue despite the gravity of the matter. She should not be allowed to lead any school, much less a preschool, where infants and toddlers can't defend themselves. Please close down the entire school and ensure that the principal gets arrested for such abusive incidents. The impact and trauma made to these young toddlers is indelible and UNFORGIVEABLE!

joyce tan (singapore, 2023-08-29)

#876

The teacher’s doing is a criminal act! All the kids are innocent be it what they have done in class. That’s part of their growing, if the teacher has no patience she shouldn’t have take up the job! Whereby parents trust the school and let the school handle the kids! The school should not abuse it!

Joan Carefree (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#884

I am so concerned about the country future hope who are the children. And about the mental development of children. Those were abused, anyone send them for consultation?

Sim Yee Wong (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

Leen Teo (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#902

Principals have to be responsible and accountable for what is happening in the school. I believe this is not an isolated case. Why is the teacher allowed to teach when there are multiple videos of her abusing the kids. Surely the principal is aware of what’s is happening.

Iliyas Jalil (Woodlands, 2023-08-29)

#904

This is unacceptable and the principal should take accountability

Shanny Teo (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

Helen Tan (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#910

I think the teacher and the P should get their license suspended. We need to have these evil people punished heavily so that we can put a stop to such acts. best is To jail them. resigning is too light a punishment.

Juan K (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#911

Sabby Sim (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#932

violence and abuse to children should not be tolerated.

resignation is just an easy leeway for the abusers, their license should be revoked, and they prosecuted by the law.
they need to pay for what they have done to our children.

edca, please take action and amend any regulation/SOP to bring confidence to working parents that the place where they are sending their children to is safe.

THIS SHLD NOT HAPPENED.

Amelia Koh (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#978

Furious with the principal’s actions to cover up the abuser. It’s a crime to cover up another person’s crime. When she should be the one standing up for the kid, she didn’t. She don’t deserve to be in education sector at all. Some jail will do her good to repent on her action.

Nicole Zhang (Singapore, 2023-08-29)
