#802

The roads cannot handle the traffic already in this area.

Timothy Sperbeck (Dacula, 2023-08-05)

#803

Traffic is already congested on these roads. This does not add value to the community developments already here. The new High School was already putting pressure on these subdivisions roadways. ESPECIALLY at the intersection of Hamilton Mill and Sardis Church. We are VERY opposed to this addition.

Amanda Holland (Buford, 2023-08-05)

#807

We don’t need more housing

Paul Schlitz (Dacula, 2023-08-05)

#809

This area is already congested and need no further crowding.

Gouri Vibhuthi (Buford , 2023-08-05)

#820

I agree with the petition. It will cripple traffic in an already congested area with bad infrastructure. People living in the area will be severely impacted.

Matthew Araya (Buford, 2023-08-06)

#821

This is not a good area for apartments!

Tamara Miller (Buford, 2023-08-06)

#823

Our roads and infrastructure won't support this development.

Keith Ward (Dacula, 2023-08-06)

#824

I live in the area and it’s so crowded and so much traffic already

Sofia Gomez (Dacula, 2023-08-06)

#825

I do not want this high density housing at this location

Deborah Grant (Buford, 2023-08-06)

#827

My son goes to Seckinger and this is going to be a nightmare! Nobody wants the traffic right next to the school or the people that come with apartments next to the school!

Meagan Towfigh (Buford , 2023-08-07)

#828

Overpopulation within the city.

Mack Rassoulian (Dacula, 2023-08-07)

#829

Let the area surrounding Seckinger HS stay high class and safe for our kids. This is an area that’s overpopulated already with very high footprint. Keep it safe for our kids.

Ala Yassin (Buford, 2023-08-07)

#831

I'm signing because I do not agree with the overdevelopment of the Hamilton Mill area. There is already insufficient infrastructure for the existing traffic. Do not add on more than the area already struggles with. In traffic hour itself, the traffic backs up about 10 miles down from the 85 exit. There is not enough roads to manage more building.

Michelle Garcia (Dacula, 2023-08-07)

#832

We already crowded with traffic. There are no round about, traffic lights or any attempts to address the traffic increase. Roads are worn down and it takes 3 -5 years and multiple resident calls before they are repaired.

Anna White (Dacula, 2023-08-07)

#833

I agree with the statements made in opposition to an apartment complex at the intersection.

Hussein Hamood (Buford, 2023-08-07)

#834

This is the wrong type of development in the wrong place. Already overcrowded roads, and over development without addressing the lack of infrastructure for this type of development. Northeast Gwinnett is already choking with apartments and mid to high density housing and empty shopping centers!

Steve Robb (Dacula , 2023-08-07)

#835

We can no longer along the overselling, building, in our area. Our schools, roads, etc can't handle the congestion

Judy South (Buford, 2023-08-07)

#838

This area is already overdeveloped, and our roads and schools cannot handle this many additional people.

Wendy Stoltz (Buford, 2023-08-07)

#839

Building apartments in an overgrown area causes overenrolled schools, traffic congestion, and many other problems. The roads are not sufficient to maintain the population. 700 apartments lead to 1400-2100 extra cars on one small footprint. Our schools are overcrowded, the roads are overcrowded. The infrastructure has to be put in place before builders come erect buildings then walk away from the area they overpopulated.

Michelle Davis (Dacula, 2023-08-07)

#841

No more housing complex in this area. Taxes collected are enormous but not infrastructure expansion has been done. Fix the roads then add homes.

Kristy and Jed Shorr (Buford, 2023-08-08)

#842

this is a ridiculous proposal. nothing about it is beneficial to the area

emma Williams (Hoschton, 2023-08-09)

#848

I’m against overdevelopment, increase traffic and density.

Crawford Grell (Dacula, 2023-08-09)

#849

We do not need anymore traffic and overpopulation in our community!

Natalia Araya (Buford, 2023-08-09)

#850

I do not want the increased overpopulation of Hamilton Mill area and the schools that it is districted in which the Seckinger Group. The Hamilton Mill Rd already has a lot of traffic and more development in that area will create even more traffic, too much traffic that it can handle

David Dinh (Buford, 2023-08-09)

#853

I'm apposed to this effort.

James Murphy (Lawrenceville, 2023-08-09)

#854

We moved to Gwinnett County to escape the overpopulation we were living in South Florida. Starting to feel alot like where we came. This needs to stop.

Albert Capote (Buford, 2023-08-09)

#855

The road and infrastructure in the area do not support 700 new homes/ apartments.

Margaret Tate (Buford , 2023-08-11)

#858

I am signing this petition because adding a 700 more people in a apartment complex will directly impact my families quality of life with added congestion to an already congested area! We have alot of businesses in that small section of Hamilton Mill and 700+ cars would be a nightmare! We do not want this!

Lynne Howard (Buford , 2023-08-11)

#860

This project does fit. It doesn’t fit area zoning. It doesn’t fit the land itself. Why are they asking for variances to park in the buffer if they have enough property? It’s unlike any zoning around it. The road doesn’t have enough room to accommodate 700 individual residential units.

Larry Wilkerson (Buford , 2023-08-11)

#861

I oppose the planned development because of strains on infrastructure & high rise buildings would be an eyesore

Neal McIntyre (Dacula, 2023-08-12)

#864

We don't have the infrastructure to support this new development. The roads/traffic will not be able to support this development.

Carol Santmier (Dacula, 2023-08-13)

#865

This intersection is already tight, complicated and overcrowded. The area simply cannot support the influx of additional traffic that this project would generate. I strongly oppose this project from being allowed to proceed especially without a traffic study and support from the community. There are already several new developments in the area under construction that will generate additional traffic once completed. The traffic burden from those developments should also be considered when evaluating the load that any additional development would generate.

Jennifer Hagen (Buford, 2023-08-13)

#866

This will drastically impact my commute to work.

Adrienne Hinton (Dacula, 2023-08-14)

#867

I definitely agree this is a bad fit for that area. Traffic is already bad there at all times of the day. My vote is NO!

Sandra O'Farrell (Buford, 2023-08-15)

#868

There is already too much traffic getting around this intersection to WalMart and the high school.

Earl Friedell (Buford, 2023-08-15)

#870

Area is already crowded causing multiple traffic problems, Builder's greed with no concern of the current residents.

Colonel James Chapin (Dacula, 2023-08-16)

#874

This area is developing faster than the county can appropriately plan. Adding 700 apartments and more retail without a proper traffic study that is presented and approved by the nearby neighborhoods is not ideal. This is primarily a single-family home area driven by families that are already dealing with an overload of traffic around several intersections due to the new access to I-85 and traffic now coming from Dacula/Auburn/Buford North Lawrenceville areas. This sort of rezoning should not be approved. We are also dealing with displaced animals (Coyote and Fox) running around neighbors looking for new homes due to too many land development projects and neighborhoods being developed without animal displacement plans. These animals must be properly studied and some sort of plan should be in place to deal with them before a project of this scope creates issues. I now have a fox den in my backyard so my child cannot go play! It's ridiculous and extremely frustrating. The intersection of 124 and 324 MUST be improved before adding more traffic routed along this road. The neighborhoods of Hamilton Mill are now getting tru traffic with people avoiding this intersection and it's causing unwanted issues. This project will compound these issues. The County needs to address the residence concerns in the impacted areas and present a plan before approving any rezoning and more projects moving forward.

Jeff Haley (Dacula, 2023-08-16)

#877

I don’t want the apartments to be developed at Hamilton Mill because the property is already over developed.

Sandra Duncan (Buford , 2023-08-16)

#878

It's already over populated and traffic is a nightmare. I moved here 10 years ago from Atlanta and it's turning into the same kinda area I moved up here to get away from. Please sat no to the new development.

Jessica Daly (Buford , 2023-08-16)

#879

Have lived in the area for over 12 years. Too much development is ruining the quality of life and impacting the environment.

Melodie Davis (Buford, 2023-08-16)

#880

I don’t want the apartments to be build.

Martha Evans (Buford , 2023-08-16)

#881

There are way to many apartments and overcrowding in our area.

Jeff Hill (Dacula, 2023-08-16)

#882

ITS TOO BUSY HERE

Rylee Townsend (Buford, 2023-08-16)

#883

Stop the oversaturation and traffic in the Hamilton mill area. Have respect for the nature and trees!

Amparo Soto (Dacua, 2023-08-16)

#884

6v7u

Suzanne Parks (Buford, 2023-08-16)

#886

Do not want any more traffic on Hamilton Mill Road.

Marlene Brumbelow (Buford, 2023-08-16)

#887

Our already overpopulated area can not withstand more population. The parking lots at all grocery and restaurants are already filled to capacity at most times. Our roads are overpopulated and costing us all too much time sitting in our vehicles when we could be enjoying our time at home. In the last 18 years my travel time to and from work changed from a 22 minute drive to 45 min. to an hour each way. This area was meant for single family homes and small business, not for MU-R.

Krista Current (Buford, 2023-08-16)

#888

The traffic is horrendous in this area as it is, the over development has crippled travel in this area. The county commissioners need to consider the constituents over profits.

Justice Nwaigwe (Dacula, 2023-08-17)

#891

We don't need anymore apartments in this area because it's too congested now.

Kathleen Cutter (Buford, 2023-08-17)

#892

The area already has a high density population and we do not need more people in an area where the current infrastructure is already not sufficient.

Michael Cutter (Buford, 2023-08-17)

#893

We do not need any more development here! This is a nice area and it’s getting more and more congested.

Amanda Remillard (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#897

I drive by here on my commute to and from work daily. What used to take me 30 minutes to commute just 5 years ago has nearly doubled in time. The infrastructure cannot adequately keep up with the growth now! This cannot happen. What gives?!?!?

Alex Parks (Winder, 2023-08-18)

#898

I moved away from Suwanee because of the high density developments which has created traffic nightmares. I don't want the same to happen near me in the Buford/Dacula community.

William Bush (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#899

There is already too much traffic in this area. This is right by 85 and putting 700 more families in this area is just too much.

Carolyn Leiter (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#902

This is not good for our community

Veronica Gomez (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#903

Our area is over populated, over developed, and riddled with crime already. If these apartments go in, I will need to move because conditions are already unpleasant.

Heather Wright (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#905

This area cannot sustain that amount of growth. We lack the infrastructure and transportation backbone. This sort of development is already going up near the mall. With Seckinger just built and the snarl of traffic it already causes, I just cannot see a good reason this need to be built.

Ian Hettenhouse (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#906

This will overload and eventually destroy the school system in this area

Danny Melanson (Buford, 2023-08-18)

#910

The traffic is already too much, there is no room for that type of commercial and residential use. Schools are already over crowded

Torrie Root (Dacula, 2023-08-19)

#912

The over building in this community is ridiculous. We have apartment complexes going up all over the place and all our green space is being demolished by greedy builders. No traffic studies are being taken into consideration and the schools are overpopulated as it is right now. Please stop the growth.

Sherrie Law (Buford, 2023-08-19)

#914

We have enough cluster, focus on the issues at hand!

Jessica Ballew (BUFORD, 2023-08-19)

#916

This area is congested enough! Stop taking every bit of green space!

Robyn Shoaf (Buford, 2023-08-19)

#917

This area is already way overcrowded. There’s more than plenty retail, commercial, apartments and subdivisions. Not to mention the lack of improvements to the infrastructure. Highways in the area are so backed up it’s takes forever seems like to go anywhere in the area especially if there’s an accident.

Charles Whitfield (Buford , 2023-08-19)

#920

This should be our new park. Not a subdivision. We are already overcrowded.

Jade Gibson (Buford, 2023-08-20)

#921

Enough is enough. Our schools are filled to capacity and so are the roads.

Kathryn Millets (Dacula , 2023-08-20)

#923

there are enough apartment complexes in the area already.

Travis Jones (Buford, 2023-08-21)

#928

I am totally opposed to this planned apartment complex due to the negative effects it will have on our school system, traffic congestion and potential for increased crime in our community.

Michael McMain (Dacula, 2023-08-21)

#929

Traffic is debilitating and it is no longer safe to travel in this area on a daily basis. Now your adding the more traffic with rezoning. My kids and the other children are in danger every day!

Dustin Dorsey (Dacula, 2023-08-21)

#930

I want to keep quiet residential areas.
We already have enough traffic.

Myung Rheem (Buford , 2023-08-22)

#931

This would be awful for traffic patterns right by the new high school.

Jennifer Samonsky (Buford, 2023-08-23)

#932

I appose because we need to improve road infrastructure to better handle such growth. We can simply require that developers contribute to improve roach system to handle the increased traffic.

Rick Harvet (Buford , 2023-08-23)

#933

There is not adequate infrastructure to support 700 units of living space in this area. The roads and schools (and school buses) are already severely over crowded.

Rachel Smith (Buford, 2023-08-23)

#935

It will greatly increase traffic in an already congested area and decrease property values

Denise Acosta (Buford, 2023-08-23)

#938

To stop this from goimg up. We are too populated now. Our streets and the area can't handle this volume

Christine Steck (Buford, 2023-08-24)

#939

I'm signing because I strongly oppose this continued over-development of this area. Traffic is already unbearable and the intersection of Hamilton Mill, Braselton Hwy is dangerous and unusable many times of the day. This new development will absolutely detract from our quality of life.

Steven Southern (Dacula, 2023-08-24)

#943

This area is too crowded already. We don’t need more apartments here.

Nathan Oyer (Dacula, 2023-08-25)

#945

Our exit cannot handle anymore traffic and people. The infrastructure cannot handle this either.

Andrea Key (Dacula, 2023-08-25)

#946

Our area is already so busy. Adding this housing here is just going to make traffic worse and overflow our schools. This housing is damaging to the area/community.

Sabra Daley (Buford, 2023-08-25)

#947

The Hamilton Mill area traffic is too congested and cannot withstand more development near 85.

Colleen Berry (Buford, 2023-08-25)

#948

I oppose the development of 700 apartments at Hamilton Mill and Hwy 85

Earl Mason (Dacula, 2023-08-25)

#952

I’m signing because traffic is already a problem in this area!

Caroline Farrell (Buford, 2023-08-25)

#953

This area is very saturated with homes and retail. Please do a traffic study before considering such a huge project.

Mona Ladha (Dacula , 2023-08-25)

#956

I’m against apartments being built in this area.

Andres Kuhn (Dacula, 2023-08-25)

#957

How much more congestion, noise, and traffic can our area take!? People have chosen to live in a quiet area but this is being uprooted by overzealous Gwinnett leaders.

Teresa Ledford (Buford, 2023-08-25)

#958

Area is becoming overcrowded.. we don't need a crowded residential area.

Terrance Mclain (Buford, 2023-08-26)

#959

I live closeby and traffic is horrible

Adnana Dumitriu (Buford, 2023-08-26)

#965

I’m signing to:
SAY NO TO 700 apartments and 17,000 square feet of commercial and retail space proposed for Hamilton Mill at I-85 and Sardis Church Road.

SAY NO TO 15 high-density multi-story buildings and SAY NO to more overburdened infrastructure.

Ashley Jung (Buford, 2023-08-26)

#966

I’m signing because the traffic in and near Hamilton Mill is keeping me from shopping in my neighborhood. It is dangerous and this unplanned development without infrastructure is ruining wuality of life for everyone!!

Andrea Polk stephenson (Dacula, 2023-08-26)

#967

Concern for too much traffic congestion.

Charlie Jenkins (Buford, 2023-08-26)

#970

The traffic can not handle more in this area.

Lorie Holtsinger (DACULA, 2023-08-26)

#971

Congestion, traffic safely, overcrowding of schools, deforestation.

Kate Eichel (Dacula, 2023-08-26)

#972

This development plan jeopardizes traffic safety!

Carl Eichel (Dacula, 2023-08-26)

#974

I’m signing because Hamilton mill is already overpopulated and congested. We cannot support more residents.

Kalli Faulkner (Dacula, 2023-08-27)

#975

Traffic is already bad in out area especially after the school was built. My other concern is property values dropping further cause of apartments.

Lenix Escalante (Buford, 2023-08-27)

#979

This area cannot handle any more housing developments. It cannot handle any more development period. The board of commissioners has been irresponsible in approving what is here, negatively impacting our schools and quality of life. The schools are facing a teacher shortage, the schools cannot handle more students.

Chester Nowak (Hoschton, 2023-08-29)

#981

Traffic congestion in this area is already great. Many people live in this area and this development would increase traffic problems

Donna Laycock (Dacula , 2023-08-29)

#982

The traffic impact and crime issues

Randy Freeman (Dacula, 2023-08-29)

#983

Our roads are overcrowded now. We do no need another large subdivision adding to an already terrible situation.

Shannon Bonds (Dacula, 2023-08-29)

#984

There’s need to develop/ find traffic solutions/ alternatives with that quantity of new population at the area…. That’s my big concern for now.

Paola Torrese (Buford, 2023-08-29)

#985

High density developments in this area is not part of the overlay plan. All about the money and taxes.

Keith Daigle (Dacula, 2023-08-29)

#986

This area is already extremely congested and dangerous. The traffic flow is not good and we do not need all of this added.

Lynda Owe (Buford , 2023-08-29)

#987

I'm frequently in the Hamilton Mill area, and it's already extremely congested. When do we stop worshipping tax bases and appreciate our corner of Atlanta for what it is?

Sharon Black (Auburn, 2023-08-29)

#988

The area is busy enough. We do not need more apartments. We do not need businesses that close to the high school either. Safety for my students and avoiding more traffic is my main concern.

Laura Ezell (Buford, 2023-08-29)

#989

I don’t want our area to be overdeveloped.

Jesse Bond (Buford, 2023-08-29)

#990

I live off Hamilton mill. I already a lot myself an extra 15 minutes to get to 85 when the gps says it should only take 5 minutes! Adding this time will make it increase. The two way roads can not handle the current traffic congestion let alone adding more to this busy intersection

Nia Flores (Buford, 2023-08-30)

#991

I absolutely believe Gwinnett county is overpopulated and have thought this for years. I’ve lived in Gwinnett all my life

Jeff Scheule (Buford, 2023-08-30)

#993

I am signing because as a resident of the community, I feel building this apartment complex will overwhelm our traffic. I feel I am always stuck in traffic right now. My son is a student at the new high school and the traffic getting from and to school is ridiculous, I can't imagine how it would be adding a 700 unit building with more vehicles.

Carol Kittredge (Buford, 2023-08-30)

#994

I spend time in that area almost daily. The traffic already is horrendous. These apartments will make it so much worse. Please fix the infrastructure first then build more housing.

Terrie Riccardi (Lawrenceville, 2023-08-30)

#995

Traffic is terrible around Sardis Church Rd Hamilton Mill intersection already. We can not handle more traffic here!

Nancy Miller (Buford, 2023-08-30)

#997

This location is less than 10 minutes from our home and less than 5 from our church and shopping locations. Traffic is already heavy and the area is becoming overcrowded.

Valarie Aleman (Hoschton , 2023-08-30)

#998

Traffic is already bad in the area and this would make it a lot worse.

Nolan Hosking (Dacula, 2023-08-30)
