Boston College COVID-19 Booster Mandate

This “vaccine” is garbage. It doesn’t stop transmission and is all risk no upside for anyone under age 50.

I believe that each person has the right to determine which medical treatments are appropriate for him. There is scientific research supporting the possible health risks of the COVID "vaccine" which are increased by administration of the booster. I do not want my child forced into a possible life- threatening decision for a "vaccine" which apparently does not prevent the COVID virus.

Vaccine should be optional, not mandatory. Please follow the science and allow students the ability to choose what is best for them.

I am the father of a Boston College graduate ('19). Almost all students at BC are vaccinated yet many are contracting omicron. Obviously the vaccine is not effective against omicron, yet BC is requiring a booster? Why? This is silly and does not present the leadership of Boston College well. Please rescind this nonsensical order.

I had the omicron variant 2 weeks ago. My parents nor myself feel that it is necessary to receive a booster shot. I should receive natural immunity from having the virus previously at least for a couple months.

I’m signing because it’s an awfully inhumane and highly irrational to keep mandating booster after booster. This is new technology never before studied, least of which the effect of repeated boosters, on children or any age. This campaign of vaccination after vaccination has not followed any tried and true study formate. It’s been “ we’ll have to start immunizing to see what happens”. That is not humane in any sense of the word. There is a reason we do animal studies on each process of a new therapy. And when it comes to vaccines it take at least 10 yrs to approve a vaccine, and that’s using a vaccine platform previously studied.
I Pray for your Courage and discernment in your decision. It is not easy to stand up to the Goliaths. But God will care for you when you do. And so will the BC community.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for I the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9

People should have a right to make an informed choice. Especially now that we know that vaccine doesn’t prevent infection or spread of the virus. It also hasn’t been studied long enough to be more confident about what the long term side effects may/will be. Please stop the mandates.

No gene therapy jab should be mandatory. Or any vaccination which the Covid 19 jab is not a vaccine, it's gene therapy. Makes you non-human.

You gotta stop. You do not have the right to keep imposing mandates in people for shots that are not working. Boosters and the vaccine are also controversial. There are many reasons people do not want to keep pumping their bodies with the serums. Stop violating people’s human and civil rights because federal funding is tied to these mandates. When it is all over you will be held accountable for the greed and abuse of authority you imposed on people who are able bodied and able to decide for themselves of they want to take this ‘flu shot’ that has yielded over 50 billion in profits to
Companies like Moderna, yet have not stopped infection. For this not in high risk, these mandates expose them to risk from the ‘vaccine’.

My son is an athlete and I am concerned about these young men being particularly susceptible to collapses attributed to heart issues. Moreover, we have hereditary issues to consider and we no longer wish to be chasing boosters each sememster.

After 1400+ breakthrough cases at an Ivy League where his older sibling’s graduation was just cancelled, this vaccination is clearly ineffective and has not be thorougly tested.

I’m a student in the class of 2023. A mandate such as this is not only unconstitutional, but downright avoidant of any scientific consciousness. A “one-size-fits-all” approach does absolutely nothing as we can clearly tell we can’t vaccinate our way out of a pandemic and may be doing more harm than good. A vaccine that has studies conducted about its side effects AFTER its rollout has no business to be forced upon people who don’t want it. Personal choice is personal choice.

I am an alum of Boston College (class of 89). I still live in the neighborhood, adjacent to BC's Brighton campus. I agree with Dr. Noorchsam. Furthermore, Rochelle Walensky, head of the CDC, made an announcement this week that these shots can no longer stop transmission of the virus. I always thought the shots should be a choice. I don't believe in mandating medical treatment of anykind, to anyone, for anything. But these shots are novel technology, have no long term studies for safety or efficacy, and we have always known the risk of this disease to college age students was very low. I was shocked and disappointed when BC mandated theses novel shots at the beginning of the school year. Just looking at the CDC's VAERS reports was enough for me to decide I would never inject myself with any of these shots. There are more deaths and adverse reactions, including permanent disability, reported for these shots than all other vaccines combined on VAERS. And these shots have NEVER prevented transmission. Dr. Fauci admitted that back in Feb. of 2021. I think the only reason BC is unwilling to change their position is because of pressure and $$ from the Biden admin. Because the "science" (aka lack thereof) never made sense. History will not look kindly on this experiment, if it is even allowed to be told. I was a Histoy major at BC by the way. Loved every minute of it. I learned a lot. I am so proud of the education I earned there. I had the most wonderful professors in the world.

Boston College has such an excellent reputation until now. I will never even consider sending my sons to BC as long as the college has atrocious policies in place. It is despicable to mandate a vaccine that clearly does nothing to stop the spread of covid. There are thousands and thousands of people who have had adverse reactions to the vaccine. It is despicable to mandate a vaccine still going through clinical trials with zero long term safety data.
