(Laois, 2016-12-04)

I know it says for type one diabetics, but I feel it should be for both type one and type two. My mother is "pre diabetic", and unfortunately due to how expensive the glucometor test strips are, and how frequently she would have to keep an eye on her sugar levels, she puts herself at the bottom of the priorities and would rather look after everyone else in the family (including a diabetic cat who needs insulin injections twice a day!). Therefore, this would really benefit her.

(Shannon, 2016-12-04)

(Kilmainhamwood, 2016-12-04)

#754

As the sister of a juvenile diabetic for 46 years I am well aware of how the worry and care for a loved one with this chronic illness is hard on both the individual and the family. Kids with diabetes are particularly vulnerable, especially going into the teen years when they want to blend. Insulin injections bruise. One less sore point really does make a difference.
